??? No, this guy is the Barnes replacement and will have been triggered by getting the Barnes money, with a couple more on top by end of August (like getting Coady, Winks and Hermansen from the Maddison money

From what I've seen he's got pace, likes to take players on, can go down the line or cut inside - looks similar to Barnes but hopefully got a bit more variety in his locker.

Haha I was one of very few folk who thought Lookman was a solid signing for us. He fits that bill rather than being bowled over with excitement and such signings tend to fare better in recent years.

 

He's a bit scruffy round the edges but at this level he ought to bag.

This guy and Winks have been signed to hit the ground running. On paper spending this amount on a player from a higher division about to hit his prime should be one of the best players in the league and should do some serious damage. I’m expecting 10 goals and 10 assists at minimum from a player like this. If he  does, then it’s great business and we can have faith in our recruitment. If not, then we’ve got work to do. This should be a player who is decent in the top flight too. Maybe not quite at the Eze or Olise level, but better than Demarai Gray who looks like he’s going to Fulham. 
 

Welcome to the club and hopefully it works out. I think he will be a good signing regardless of end product because I think a fast and skilful player will at minimum drag players around and make spaces for others. 
 

Now we need a similar player for the other side. We get that and we have enough to get started though we are lacking depth in the wide areas.
