I did say several days ago that this clearly wasn't happening.

Ridiculous that we've wasted such a lot of energy on a player in a critical role to Enzo's system who clearly isn't up for it.

They can’t spread the transfer fee over more then 5 years now

Yeah, but that’s not the point. If they sign an 8 year contract it’s basically saying they’re building the team around these players and in effect, won’t need to spend for that amount of time.

Not always a bad thing.

By the player..?

Think you're in for a real pleasant surprise here if so.. The amount of good positions Praet and KDH occupied on Saturday and didn't capitalise on, if we can get Casadei in them week in, week out the goal involvement output could be obscene. He's a special talent, a very big improvement for us in the centre of the park if we get this over the line! Excited.

their stupidity could become genius. Because there’s every possibility now that saudi clubs push future transfer fees to the moon as they continue to grow.

Snapping up all the young talent around will eventually pay for itself. Even if the approach is very scattergun. They will get some wrong but they will get a bunch right and that will make it worthwhile in the long run.

The joys of an endless pot of money and no regard for following the rules

Option to buy?

I would say 99.9999% not

but if we get promoted then it wouldn’t surprise me if we tried to get another year on loan (assuming he was a success)

Listening to Simon Jordan on TalkShite this morning he was basically saying that the long contracts allow them to spread the transfer fee over 8 years rather than the usual 4 or 5 and so avoid problems with FFP.   Unbelievably Chelsea will probably show a profit on transfers this window.

So am I now Percy's dropped the tweet. 😂

Worried about how long it took though - is it going to be like the Frimpong unveiling at Barnsley where he looked as though someone had just broken into his house and pissed on his dog?

How long it's taken appears to be outsiders Leicester's control.

Imagine he'll be in contention for the weekend.

Hopefully you're right and it isn't ineptitude from us or reluctance from him.

If it's the former, it bodes poorly for the other signings we'll need to make.

To be fair to the lad, if my only other experience of a championship loan was 6 months in Reading I’d be reluctant to give it another go lol

Really? The fact Chelsea aren’t using him is frankly a mystery. He will piss this league once he gets going .
