Gala appear to be looking to cash in. The majority of the rumours are that it's either a transfer or a loan with obligation for £5-6m.

 

Of course it could all be rubbish. His agent or Gala could be using us to get a better deal from Bordeaux.

 

Still think it's very significant how few, if any, credible UK sources are talking about this.

Faes was awful on Saturday - probably our worst player on the day. Constantly gave the ball away, and didn’t look particularly interested.

In fairness, he had a decent game against Coventry, but against Cardiff he was just so poor.

I'd hardly call it 'bloated'. We have 26 senior players, that includes 4 goalies, of which 2 probably won't be named in the Championship squad come-what-may, so there is wriggle room.

Never understood the obsession with having to keep to a certain number, knowing full well, you could easily take a very small risk, get someone in before gettting others out!

I hope this isn't true.

 

One good season two years ago and they've just signed Tete to replace him. He smacks of Ghezzal/Under, not against the loan with an option to buy at all but throwing €10m at him is ridiculous.

It's more that we have a bloated wage bill in fairness. 

 

The supposed six that have been told they can leave are all likely paid pretty solid Premier League wages. That's a huge burden on our annual playing budget. 

 

It's easy to say we can take a risk signing a player and offset it "when" we sell but that's zero sign of Soumare, Daka, Castagne, Souttar, Ward or Iversen actually imminently leaving.
