He showed a complete lack of class with the Enzo sign whilst Cooper was in charge and has spat his dummy out regarding the refusal to stay at the training ground one day a week. I’ll be glad to see the back of him, along with the majority of our squad. Complete overhaul needed but shifting the deadwood isn’t gonna be easy thanks to the ridiculously overinflated wages that have been handed out over recent times. 
 

How we fare next season is impossible to predict atm, surely it has to be more enjoyable than this one though 🥴

He was commuting from London, Ruud asked him to stay over occasionally, as he didn’t feel travelling benefitted him…. Winks refused, so Ruud dropped him.

That's just not a lack or respect to the club and his manager but to his friends and colleagues........

The Enzo sign was also not a good look....maybe Enzo will buy him...........nope I think its unrequited love there!

He's not covered himself in glory. There are ways of handling situations, and this isn't one. The pics were a childish dig. He should be sacked for that, we would be

It's the public ruck up that's further the issue. He may be in dispute with the manager, but to have your missis posting photos of them with baby and a drink in hand on match day is not good, its disrespectful to club, fans and fellow team mates

This guy is a symbol of why our club is so rotten. He shows zero commitment and has no affinity to the club and fans, but is being paid so much, he's going nowhere. He'll keep pocketing 90K a week and posting pics and laughing in our faces.

People keep referencing this, but I'm not sure he can be held accountable for a sign that someone else held up to effectively take the piss.

Just to play Devil’s advocate on this one, we’ll never really know what went down. There’s lots of reports that Ruud asked Winks to stay overnight, but Harry also became a father for the first time in March. Around the same time all this came to a head. There’s always two sides, but I don’t think it’s just as cut and dry as people are making out

I had a difference of opinion on twitter regards this, and I've heard that Chris for LTID in support of Winks.

Apparently Winks and his missis had a place in Notts, they moved back to London after the baby so his missis could be closer to family for support. The baby at the time was 4 weeks old, most dads get 2 weeks paternity and don't get paid millions of pounds for their job, I dont think Ruud was asking the earth, Winks performance was poor, and he had a duty of care to his employer to improve, he had options, he could have brought his missis and baby with him if he wanted, he could have rented a hotel suite nearby for his whole family, there really is no excuse, he cared little for the club, the fans, his team mates. I think he thought himself clever and morally right, it just showed how stupid pampered footballers can be sometimes, they're not in the real world

I agree, he didn’t read the room, and I don’t think he handled himself great after the event either. I think the fact he had a kid, at exactly the same time he apparently refused to stay overnight would have been the reason. Not just because he’s a pampered footballer

Was really crap when he did play this season, weak and unwilling to do the dirty work, if you go back and watch the highlights (god help you if you do) you’ll see a lot of him dangling legs instead of bodily tackling/blocking.

Reason he can’t make the grade in the prem and the likes of Will Hughes/Lewis Cook are successful and it isn’t technical ability, he’s soft. Also loves throwing his arms about when we concede and acting a child,

If he’s that bothered, give him to Watford for 500k and get him gone.

in the Championship, in the right system, he's a star player.  He has proved that. If we get back to the Premier League, he should be moved on as he hasn't been good enough for two premier league teams

Whilst i think he was wrong, I'm not angry with him. He thinks he's morally right that he is with his newborn every night in London, he's got his missis in his ear and its an easy trap to fall into, he's just been an idiot, however if he were to think about it, it wasn't beyond his capability to fulfil his commitment to his family, and the club, and if he were to apologise I'd be happy for him to play for us next season. I cant see it though

The night before a match too! Shows his mindset and lack of commitment. You'd like to think that our recruitment and contract people will learn from this ie if a player signing lives over a certain amount of miles away, if asked to stay at the training ground prior to a match, then if he fails to do so, he's eligible for a huge fine.
