I don't know if many realise but he had a hand in  two of the Goals last night.

Vardy's Goal when he played the ball to El Kanousse to play Vardy in and then the pass to Daka for the 3rd Goal.

If he can keep improving we'll all be very happy.

And the disallowed goal, his ball through to Buoanotte.

I wonder if VK isn’t up to playing twice in three  days ?  He did have an injury earlier in the season.  When I saw Thomas selected on Saturday I wondered if we’d decided to save viktor  for last night

Thats a real possibility or to give him the extra few Days to recover. Either way it worked out for the better for us.

He's the most improved player under Cooper, Albeit from a low base.

He still needs to improve his defending at Corners though. It's as if he doesn't know where to stand or who to mark.

A lot to admire but a lot to learn also. He does seem to be working hard which is a real positive.

Bloody Talented Lad, he was treated appallingly and still came back and is still trying to improve, ideally you would want him as a back up to a better standard of player but he is improving and no one can question his commitment to the cause or his physical effort

JJ on the other hand is stealing a living

When was this?

You don't remember Rudkin smashing a bottle of bleach in his face at the training ground while Whelan flicked her bogies at him?

Reminder that he is 21 years old. 2 years younger than "youth prospect" McAteer.

People are blinded by the price tag because he was 10m+

They assume when we buy 20-year-olds like him and El Khannouss for a decent fee they are ready-made players.

wasn't there that Maddison, Barnes etc. clique that didn't like him replacing Thomas who was part of that group? That was the rumour anyway

Completely agree. Khristiansen has flaws but he has a lot of positives. He has also come into the club when it hasn’t been the best. He had people like Fat Youri showing no class and flaunting around. A manager on his way out. I think his biggest mistake was not staying and learning from Enzo - could’ve really have benefitted him.

Sure, but he played ahead of Thomas, so he didn’t get treated too badly did he?

There’s a reason VK has been a Wonderkid on FM for two years running.

I thought this guy had another good game. His willingness to run and play forward again was good.

If he can add shooting (bit like Fuchs) to his game. Could improve him even more

He put in some really good crosses today.

Don't know if I'm being too critical of him but I wonder if he could have done better for their 2nd goal? Although to be fair it wouldn't surprise me if he was dead on his feet thanks to the little help he got from Ayew.

Again, maybe overly critical but don't think the crosses were that good? A couple of threatening ones but that's it?

i questioned that myself. Personally, I just think that when he opened his body I would have been sliding to try and block the shot as at that point he’s definitely having a go. Maybe was worried he’d cut back again but that would have been a weird choice and I think you’ve just got to commit sometimes.

To be fair, it wasn’t his mistake. He was one of the few players who came out and said he would stay to help us to go back up, but then Enzo didn’t think his quality of being a traditional full back suits.

Needs to do more to block crosses coming in/closing down players defensively but offensively does much more than Justin and plays some nice balls in

I have to admit I’m really starting to appreciate this lad. I thought he had a very good game and showed lots of energy and enthusiasm. Improvement in his link play and crossing is noticeable. Well done.
