Considering he's still only 24, a good goalkeeping coach and he could become a real prem keeper, felt like he was much older.
Mads will go in the summer and Jakub is a position we don't need to worry about in the Championship if we go down, other than who will be his #2.

Can’t be coincidence that our defence was a lot better tonight with him in goal . Clearly they trust him more and multiple times you could hear his shouts to take control of the situation.

Plays against Wolves we probably get a result.

Anybody but ward plays against Wolves, we get at least a point... Iverson would have won the match, I believe...

Not unless he scored a solo wonder goal cos we created feck all in that game.

he’s always been a good keeper, i could see the clubs with top analysts/recruitment teams being interested in him.

True, but I believe the team knew Ward would do nothing to merit the effort needed to overcome his shittiness... looked atrocious last week, but just felt it was on Ward... hoping so at least...

A lot more confident than ward wasn’t stuck to his line quite commanding if being harsh he might have done better with Jones’ goal but how close it was give him the benefit of the doubt, not much chance with the 1st and 3rd unbelievable that you have a 23 year old making his prem debut at Anfield and our defenders are giving him the ball under pressure.

That could've been an overwhelming experience as a PL debut, did well. Didn't look overwhelmed or nervous. Defense seemed to have confidence in him, too.

He did very well. He looked confident and wasn't afraid to take control in a crowd. I really like the lad. Can catch as well when under pressure. Made the right decisions today. Can't ask much more. As others say easily our number 1 in the championship when Mads leaves.

Did well.

Thought his kicking was largely pretty good too.  Simply put when we line up against Man City there'll be other players starting for us that you'd feel less assured of than Jakub.

If Ward had played we'd have lost tonight

I think we would have lost 3 league games in a row by at least a 3 goal margin for the first time since 1958 had Ward played.

His distribution was excellent, his ability to get to crosses missed by our defenders as really decent and he didnt make any notable mistakes. For a 24 year old he seems quite vocal which I like to hear from GKs.

Give Ward to Showbiz Wrexham and lets keep this lad as our cup and back up option.

Pressman was a pretty average Premier League keeper at Sheffield Wednesday. Not too bad at all. Never seen a keeper at this level that lowers his team's ceiling as much as Ward.

This was not the Pressman that played for us. He was barely mobile. The memory of him falling backwards as he was lobbed by the opposing keeper is one I can't forget.
