Mads Hermansen

We might as well get him back on loan in Jan, he's not even playing.

I think getting Kasper back in Jan will help us get back up, still a good keeper and a much needed vocal voice.

And...... there's your Jakub gift! At least one a game. As is said.

You sound delighted.

He's not doing me any favours this week after I've just been defending him, but he is a class act, as all the evidence and stats prove, albeit one that needs to improve his distribution.

Brain dead pass from him today. He's lucky we were in a position that it didn't affect the result. Had nothing else to do either today lol

Couple of good saves from in the first half I think?

Hes a good goalkeeper but hes made a few errors, its his first full season as number one, if he can iron out these errors there's a good goalkeeper, if not then he'll only ever be a decent championship goalkeeper.

Agreed mate 👍 let's just hope its a poor patch and he proves me wrong. Its frustrating because hes a really good instinctive shot stopper. May be Marti is in a bit of a quandary as Jakubs long distribution has been poor so he plays a tactic to pass out from the back to expose him less. But then when something like today happens he can't win!

He’s still relatively young for a goalkeeper and has only made 28 appearances at championship/PL level.

Giving our inexperienced youth a chance is part of the rebuild and they’re going to make mistakes along the way.

Exactly!

The lack of patience we show for developing talent is really saddening.

If you look at some of the howlers that established Premier League kerpers make, this one hardly registers and luckily we had enough in the bank for it not to count.

Hopefully he learns from it.

Made a very good save first half.

If he had everything he wouldn’t be playing for us in the Championship. You’ll have loads of whopper comments in here but the statistics don’t lie he’s currently the best shot stopper in the league and as he matures and develops the other sides of his game will come on. Goalkeepers don’t peak until they reach late 20s into their 30s.

The first half save was good positioning/a bit of luck but he needed to be there.

Bristol equaliser. The disapointing distribution at times and that today worries me. I think he has a lot about him to be a good keeper but in tight games, that sort of lack of decision making/error, loses you points.

Perhaps it’s a season or two too early for him. Maybe Begovic and the experience is what we go for. Big decision.

Ridiculous from him today. 3-0 up not getting clean sheets and he rushes like that. Just go long and see the game out.

I've been a big fan of his but he has dropped off the last two games imo.  Begovic does add a bit more calm

Hermansen made that exact same mistake 3 times last time we were down here... kind of have to accept the way we play drawing teams on will have that happen sometimes

As others have said, he's relatively young for a first choice GK but still a solid shot stopper and actually decent in the air too (which we've been missing for a good while). He'll make mistakes - today was a particularly bad one, granted - but he can iron those out with experience.

Don't think the philosophy of playing it on the ground out from the keeper suits him at all (although long kicks arent exactly his specialty either) and that's a tactical issue, so as well as Jakub doing the work to improve his focus, Marti needs to take a good look at whether this tactic is worth persisting with.

I’d be interested to know if Jakub is partially colourblind like many blokes are.

Reds and greens can be very easily merged for people with CVD.

Skip doesn’t just have one Ipswich player next to him, there are several.

How can anyone have seen the Sheffield United game and say that Begovic should start again at any point this season?
