Good result, poor performance...again.

Luckily results are more important than performances and I'm sure we'll improve throughout the season.

If we can win when not playing great, imagine when we click.

Love it!

Hope he learns a thing or two from Kasey today. He shoud have had a goal himself at least. Will be interesting to see how he develops, I feel like he's got all the tools you need to be a very good player, but isn't doing it yet. Once he gets used to our patterns of play, I can see him bagging a lot. I hope he does!

But he is ball watching and not doing anything, it was a floated ball, if he back peddles it makes things a little more difficult for the striker. Not good defending, you can defend even if you can’t get the ball. If it was a whipped ball I would totally agree he never was in the play

Back peddle and leave the man he's marking?

It was a poor goal to concede but to blame Vestergaard for it is just ridiculous. The keeper needed more command and Doyle let his man in front of him, there was nothing Vestergaard could have done to prevent that goal. Some just want to pick apart his performances and continue with the "he's not very good" line

Truth is, he's still a poor defender when someone is running at or in behind him but so far he's been pretty steady in his performances this season

Did Ricardo get away with a hand ball late in the match? Looked like it but no replay so it was hard to tell.

They replayed it on the foxes hub, but not in great quality - looked to me like it hit him in the face.

Seeing this I’m willing to admit I’m wrong, it is Doyle that let’s his man get ahead and doesn’t react well enough

It's still a poor goal to concede - and it all came from Mads hurrying a clearance that went to the opposition.  But, yeah, we have to start giving vestergaard his dues.

Ground out the win and like a few other have said fitness and that extra bit of quality throughly the squad, will see us through these sort of games whilst everything’s not completely upto scratch.

Winks came into his own once Casedei came on.

He is holding the midfield together, once we get a proper midfielder who is on the same wavelength as him (Ndidi isn’t that player and I feel Dewsbury-Hall will need to sharpen his same up with his passing and decision making else his position could be under threat) with Casedei in front we will see them start to create more opportunities for Iheanacho/Vardy.

Still issues with starting the second half again slow and sloppy, hopefully this starts to get resolved soon,

Signs are encouraging tho and 4/4 in the league with teams trying to sit back and frustrate us is a testament to the psychology and belief Enzo and I say Winks and Cody are installing once a few square pegs in round holes are sorted in the starting 11 we will see us really kick on.

The board need to back him 100 percent and go with who Enzo deems good enough and not needed and push on with the new transitioning of play and clear the deadwood who dont fit regardless of money/sentiment.

I think what is the biggest concern is this 15-20 minute period we have in the second half where we fall apart….. we seem to give up a lot of attacking opportunities to the opposition, and the fear is better teams will take advantage in this period

Iheanacho goes between underrated to being overrated constantly. Fact is he isn't a lone striker and needs a system that gets the best out of him.

In my opinion it’s not the system that is the problem, truth is he is so inconsistent, on his day unplayable and then has a run where he can barely trap a bag of cement, what is concerning me at this moment, is he is now in the last year of his contract and does he have the hunger/desire, whilst he assisted for McAteers goal, other than that he looked way off and barely threatened, whilst giving possession away so many times. If we get a bid of £10m + I would sell and bring in a replacement more suited to how we play and with more technical ability.

Eventually these performances will catch up with us but 3 points is 3 points.

Positives were that we defended relatively well, Casadei’s cameo and McAteer scoring twice but little else. We just look confused.

Who’s doing the catching up..

Near things don’t count, including our own,but nobody takes notice or conveniently forget OUR chances..

Lets be the Sid James,Kenneth Williams of the Championship…

Carry on up the soar while confused…

I think those who are a bit disheartened by the consistency in performance shouldn’t be. There’s a number of reasons for it.

Firstly, a lot of our squad (rightly or wrongly) can be demotivated. Think about the amount of internationals we have. Some of these won the FA Cup. Some have played in the World Cup. A lot have consistently played in the PL, Europe etc. whether we like it or not, playing Rotherham away in a half empty stadium can psychologically be difficult to get up for. I mean I struggle. Especially when it comes across as easy. Until we develop some rivalry/competition at this level, that lack of motivation will creep into games and unlike last year is understandable when combined with the uncertainty of futures. It’s no surprise those who have impressed are either new signings or youth products.

Secondly, new manager, new style. It’s going to take time. He doesn’t have his full squad yet. Getting wins consistently in this period is great.

Thirdly, even when we ran the league in 13/14 we didn’t start off free flowing, just look at the games pre- Derby at home. We had moments of excellence but had a number of scrapes which held us in good stead come the end of the season.

Fourthly, our pre-season was non-existent, many, including myself expected a slow start - which we have had but with results.

At some point we will hit a sticky patch, a 46 game season. These results against teams we should be beating are fantastic. A few more signings before the deadline and the style to really take shape will hold us in good stead. The top 3 is very much an aim now. Hopefully we don’t fall now from where we are.

No we haven’t.

Individuals have made the difference that is for sure, reminds me of Man U under ole at the moment. I feel we will click and be a serious force though, we have the players and with two more expected in next week I’m excited

12 points out of twelve. only a a so-called Leicester fan could come up with such negativity. What would you have preferred  2 points but by god we played so well as to my idea of performance.

I've said that if we can win when not playing well, imagine what we can do when we play well, and I've said I'm sure we will improve over the season.

I'd say they are fairly honest and largely positive comments?

You've chosen to focus on the one negative thing I've said, which was that I don't think we've put in a good performance yet despite the results.

I think that's an honest assessment.  If you genuinely think we have been great, and have deserved all of the wins outright,  fair play to you.

It's a forum for discussion, don't take it too seriously,  you'll make yourself ill.

Historically..Leicester lose games we should win….

Now bring on those big Championship scaries..

I think we have to bear in mind that KDH is stuck in the middle of a Mavididi/Nacho/Ndidi bermuda triangle - none of these players are offering him quite the support he needs - Mavididi and him still aren't on the same wavelength, Nacho (assist aside) had another substandard game, and ndidi doesn't have the right tools to be playing as a #8 - I don't think it's a coincidence that KDH and the team in general played their best football in the 20 minute spell from casadei and vardy coming on up to KDH and mcateer going off.
