That cap is generally reckoned to be worth a fiver in mint condition.

BUT ...

if you've got the exceedingly rare Brendan Rodgers autograph variant ... !

then 25p.

On a separate note I do find all this fearless branding a fckin embarrassment.

It really couldn’t be further from the truth.

Quite.

But there again, it all comes down marketing.

While honest, the tagline of "Let's all sh•t the bed: Brendan's brown army" would have not sold a lot of merch.

Thanks for all your help (and a few good laughs 🤣). Not really bothered about the hat as found it at a charity shop while at a festival just needed the shade and for £2 thought it was a bargain. But if anyone knows a young fan who might appreciate it... Let me know.

Escalated quickly

Glanced at this thread title and thought that Harry Winks or Conor Coady might have been in the running to resurrect and revitalise their England career. Either that, or KDH has caught the eye of Southgate. lol

17th Century Ming dynasty I do believe.

So Sorry SSUT i believe it’s a 41bc village elders head piece thought to ward away evil Tree & Ram spirits that try to invade the villages but if the elder waved it above his head whilst drinking an alcoholic beverage chanting a Village protection spell song he would beat them away !!

Wasn’t that the hat Erwin Rommel wore when he took Tobruk during the Second World War?

That’s why he’s called the Desert Fox.

lol good one.

The holding of Tobruk held no strategic advantage anyway.  Also when he took Tobruk our Eighth Army was so badly supplied, we didn't have enough supplies and equipment especially armoured personnel to put up a good fight. If we did we would have won.   Not sure why Churchill made such a fuss about the holding of Tobruk after the fact.  El Alamein was more important and we checked Rommel the Desert Foxes advance at El Alamein.  Now i'm going on a rant.

Anyways when we defeated Rommel we got the hat back and now it's in the possession of @Dan_Cr85

Shhhh.... I'm trying to psyche OP out because everyone knows this is the one-of-a-kind, totally unique cap that Jamie Vardy was wearing when he scored the "it's eleven, it's heaven" goal.

 image.thumb.png.b143d4e4e10f8231bc949bd25dd5d173.png

It was commissioned specifically for that match by Claudio Ranieri who had it hand made in Lombardy from the fur of 10 specially chosen black fox cubs.

Rumour has it that the commentator wasn't wrong, and it's thought to be divine. The Pope himself upon hearing about the eleven heaven cap, requested that it be brought to him after the game so that it could be studied by scholars alongside the Shroud of Turin.

How OP found it in a charity shop in Leicester is anyone's guess.

Mate that's some story you've concocted cap's of to you for that.

It's the #Earless cap.

Incredibly rare, a limited edition with a Dryfit elasticated band that wicks away the cold sweat of impending doom whist comfortably seating the cap on the earless head.

Well that's what the chap in the club shop said.

I've used up all my train Googling just to make a single pun. I know nothing of what you speak, but I'm convinced you're using a tractor to farm likes.

I found this cap at a charity shop and I've been trying to find others online to gauge it's worth but i can't seem to find any previous listing of this stunning cap! Does anyone know anything about it or even own one themselves?

Its not fully clear from the photos - but I think I can see Danny Ward's signature on there. Can you confirm?

I was quite excited to snap up a signed shirt of his for a real bargain recently, and I'd heard a myth he'd once signed a cap, so this could be the holy grail I've been looking for!
