if there was a league between the Championship and the Premier League, we'd fit perfectly in it.

Us, Leeds and Ipswich, then the bottom 8 of the Premier League. Not much between us.

Although I get why we do that pass from Mads to a marked man for them to pass outside when under pressure to draw players in, it does make for an incoming injury when tackles like the one that just went in occur. Somebody is going to get raked out of a game...

What has Ricardo done to ex-Liverpool players? Are they trying to break him?

Liverpool players just have issues I think.

Goodness me I’ve read some cobblers on here tonight.

This is how we play….We are patient, solid, well organised and after tonight will be 7 points clear of third.

Be patient and watch the game..

But they have less patience than Harold Shipman

I was thinking just the same. Too good for the Championship while too shit for the premier league.

Preston are very very limited and yet were joint top until a couple of games ago. This is not a good championship year

Think we’re just so much more ahead of the rest

Iheanacho was expecting to be called offside. When the flag didn’t go up he wasn’t sure how to celebrate…:D

Most of the ground didn't even celebrate straight away, I sure didn't! I thought he was miles offside from where I'm sat in the Kop, but if not, that's a great team goal.

Can anyone say if it was actually offside? Bet VAR would have looked into that one!

Hard to blame you when he's been playing like patrick viera

Actually, yes -- I think my brain just doesn't expect to see Wilf that deep into the box, providing assists from 10 yards out.

What's a good championship year?

This is true. But shortly before our goal Madz made a good save. I really don't blame some of our fans for getting a bit edgy. And we all know most (if not all) sides are going to play like this against us.

Commentator has a strange way of pronouncing Holmes

Why do footballers do shit like that? I get Woodburn is frustrated with the decision, it was soft and he probably should have had a goal, but take a deep breath and move on. Its no reason to clatter and potentially injure another player. Ricardo didn't rule out the goal, he wasn't even the player involved. Channel the frustration into trying to get the goal you were denied.

Agreed. Look at the sides that gained promotion last season, they’re getting battered.

They were joint topbecause they had the easiest fixtures as people had posted here. Way too early to say this. Teams haven’t even played half the other sides once yet

Can’t see us scoring by lumping balls into the middle of the Preston box. We need to play through them, ball on the ground.

I’m not right about much, but I was right about this. Not that it required great insight.
