He did indeed, but overall was his worst performance of the season for us.

Maresca has been clever moving him in to this role, it's easing the burden on his fragile body. I'd have subbed him though, but in the end it didn't cost us.

If he had been subbed, then we would maybe not have scored the third goal. You could say Enzo was vindicated leaving him on.

Either way, it shows that players of that calibre aren't phased by poor performances and can still make key contributions in a game.

Seen some Swansea fans claiming that they didn't deserve to lose by two goals. I don't see it personally. OK, they had chances to score more but we definitely should have scored more than three. I think the two goal margin was more than a fair reflection.

Missed the game as I was watching Coalville win 9-0 :D

Just watched the extended highlights back there were about 18 minutes of highlights and I reckon 90% of it was us attacking and creating chances.

That must be one of our most complete performances of the season?

They were lucky it wasn't about 12 and that's accounting for the fact they probably could have scored another.

We were hideously wasteful in the final third but their defence leaked like a sieve.

Blackburn didn’t deserve to lose by three goals. Conversely Bristol City and Preston deserved to lose by a lot more than what we beat them by. That’s football.

We really are in the wrong league. Last year was clearly an aberration. We are miles above the standard in the championship. I think even with this roster we would be a mid level premier league team with Enzo leading us.

Whoa there boy..

Do take into account, the interface to to the PL midtable door,is nowhere near a jar.

We have not left the house yet,to even begin the journey, documents still being verified by the Missus.

That gap between bottom PL 6 is still there, because we are not in a position to prove or even yet earn it..!!
Nice that family are all prepared & agreed on destination, even the transport-system.

That nice brochure & taste of previous adventures, gave us a taste of what could come, but each seasons new Print has its twists, and in a large family, might have some relations, wanting to have seperate hotels..

Why there are even those happy kids, who become moody teenagers shortly before travel, who won’t even give you peace to count your bloody chickens,or take those first steps into a presumed comfy preconceived PL Domocile

Then ex-neighbours turn up,to ruin any first nights,or pre-planned celebrations,by telling all & sundry some of the kids are adopted & birth mother wants them back..

Everything's just a breath of fresh air.

In the last few years i'd been made to hate my own club, team, players and football in general and there is far more to it than it being down to simply to winning games.

It is more than just winning as you can see the players putting in the effort.

When we scored the 3rd goal there were groups of players celebrating as they knew we'd won the game.

The desire and will to win is back and it's bloody marvellous to see. I can take defeats like the Hull game as you can se they really are putting in 100% effort and that's all you can really demand.

They weren’t good enough to compete. As my mate said yesterday, we’re a premier league team in the championship. However you want to dress up last season, we should never have gone down. We are winning games and we’re barely out of third gear.

I dunno what the channel was that I watched the game on, but Lee Trundle was commentating and the level of his dillusion and bias towards Swansea was genuinely comical. He was genuinely making out the game was in the balance, when in reality, it would have been an astronomically wasteful performance in the final 3rd for us not to win. We wasted so many great opportunities, and rightfully won the game by a comfortable margin in the end. Thought they were poor tbh.

That would've beaten Wilf's goal at S'hampton had KDH finished it...

It must be such a depressing experience being an opposition fan.

I wish I hadn’t watched that Twitter video clip. Brought back horrible memories of sitting through Lee Trundle’s commentary yesterday for 90 minutes.

The main commentator was OK as he didn't constantly talk but then you got a Whinny scouser pipping up and shouting all the time. Almost spoiled the match. I could have switched to the lcfc feed but they have Gerry Taggart so ...

I can't abide that level of lack of professionalism either.

Squealing with Scouse delight every time Swansea went on the break.  Shouting things into the mic like 'go on son' etc.

You're being paid to provide what limited insight into the match your walnut brain can muster Lee, not act like a fan in the stands.

Abysmal and I shall be writing him a hand written note expressing my disapproval.  That'll show him.

When we went 1-0 yesterday my girlfriend asked me why I wasn't upset. We've only been together just over a year so she's been used to seeing me pissed off after endless pathetic performances under Rodgers. But yesterday I just never felt like we weren't going to get all 3 points. Our mentality is rock solid which is a huge testament to Maresca giving the feebleness of our relegation

Out of interest why were people watching the Swansea stream instead of the Leicester one?

The picture was slightly better. There was a lag on the picture and sound on the lcfc stream. It's also interesting to hear what other teams think of us. I m sure the foxeshub stream is  biased towards Leicester.

I was also supposed to go to the match but had to stay home instead so wanted a real authentic Welsh experience while watching

Did you watch it sat in the shower then?
