Always seems to be in with the group that cause problems......lockdown parties, out drinking constantly, drink driving.....we have got rid of a lot of toxicity but unfortunately Hamza and Thomas still remain from the party boys.

 

We need a refresh and these should be nowhere need the team let alone captain.

I hate him. Should have been a shining light of what Leicester is about. Maddening to hear how ‘proud’ his family are of him on the odd clip I see of the documentary that the club made. The club deserves a lot of criticism over its decision to give him a new contract after he put lives at risk by drink driving.

Choudhury can be effective on the pitch.   Particularly at this level.

Thomas just seems to make mistakes.

 

Attitude of both is open to question.

 

They are both academy players who won the FA Cup.

If he’s got relegation wage decreases in his contract he won’t be on that.

He's a liability on the pitch, just as much as Thomas. Obviously both are good enough for this level, but there aren't much better than that, and certainly not on the wages they are on.

 

And there's nothing complicated about it, the guy has a catalogue of stupid to illegal things he's done. One, maybe two misdemeanours and it's up for debate, but not when there's so much evidence. He's clearly a ****.

 

To call him a legend is mental. I'd say I'd have some of what you're smoking but I think I'll pass...

Of course they are legends.   They won the FA Cup.  To say they're not is part of the toxicity.  You don't have to like them because they are legends.

 

Players who won the league, players who won the FA cup are legends.  It will become clearer with the passing of time.

 

I didn't smoke anything.  I had some alcohol fee beer.   I was still able to offer an opinion.

He was one of very few players to front up to the fans after we got relegated last season. While others hid, he took it on the chin, so I’m not sure that ‘smug and arrogant’ is the right description. And you’ve just plucked that £40 grand a week figure out of thin air.

Just my personal thoughts and opinion, but whilst Hamza loves to get stuck in, I can’t help but think he always looks like he is going through the motions, can be very complacent and switches off a lot, I do wonder if Russell has come in and picked up on this and given his desire for high standards has written Hamza off in the list of potential candidates to be captain. 
 

it will be very interesting to see if he is included in the squad today because I have a feeling he is one that has been identified to get out of the club.

Choudhury and Thomas leaving maybe in both of their own best interests.  The bile aimed at both of them can't be good for their wellbeing.  Perhaps all the posters who throw extreme comments are perfect people?

 

Both have limitations as footballers that undermine their strengths.   On the football field, a weakness of each is their decision making.  Being in the public seems to suit neither.   Because their decision making is questionable.

 

Perhaps I should stop looking at this forum as I find some of the toxic comments disturbing.   Perhaps Thomas and Choudhury should move on.  If they stay,  hopefully both would improve and less toxicity will be aimed at them.

Seems to me in with the group let’s try it being he is the root cause leader and initiator of problems. I have no issue with what he does in his private life but when it impacts the team and the club he needs to be gone. I just don’t think he is a very good footballer.

No thing's wrong with it. The amount they burn off playing and training requires substantial meals. It's an English staple meal. If he's drinking excessive amounts of alcohol then that's to be reported to the club. 'Fans' would rather condemn than help.

It's a case of a talented young player having suffered through the instability of a poorly run club. Many of the commenters on this forum aren't fans/supporters - they're here to express their frustration at life in general by scapegoating individuals. Even Vardy came in for criticism from certain quarters. If you've managed to get to play for a premiership club then you're an elite player. "Can't play football" cannot be applied to any professional football player.

Sorry I haven’t read the whole thread but are you saying Hamza is an elite player?
