So sloppy from us! Riccy P and Vardy showing zero ability to receive ball into feet that half.

Boys need a wake up call in the changing room.

you can belt the ball from anywhere with little to no skill and it can count as a shot off target..

I genuinely think the way we play is fascinating. But then again I love chess and Maresca wrote a thesis on the similarities between chess and football.

We’ll get torn apart once we play competent teams playing like we currently do.

It’s not until you come down and you realise that football has levels. The Premier League is truly elite and the top half teams are better than most teams in the world.

I know I'm looking too far ahead and likely overconcerned when we are not even up yet, but not only do we need a rebuild to replace players who are clearly not good enough, which I think with the step up will be quite a few, but we also will effectively be going into the season tactically blind, because we won't be playing anything like the style of football we have done this season where we command the ball and control the tempo all match, I'm hoping the fundamentals can be transferrable into a new system, but when we go up I think we could easily need half a squad and a very different tactical approach to learn also.

But I know, I'm well ahead of myself here!

We are top of the league and playing interesting football. What more do you want?!

9-0 every week, playing like 80s / 90s Ajax?

We played badly, but we have made 6 subs, so it should be expected that we lose fluency and look kind of ropey. IMO this is why it was a good idea to make so many subs for this game, because we need to give minutes to squad players who will have a big part to play in the next 2-3 months and the team rooted to the bottom of the league is the team to do it against.

The surprising thing is that it's our playing out from the back that has been awful, and the mistakes have not been made by squad players. Ricardo after 20 seconds, Vestergard and Hermansen all made some awful mistakes, and with the amount of game all of these guys have played, they shouldn't be.

Anyway with our squad even if we get into trouble we can make the changes if needed. Yunus Akgun for me looks terrific so that has been good to see.

I've come on here at HT plenty this year super relaxed compared with hysteria all round. But that was utter garbage.

Soon as I saw Casadei in I thought we'd have problems. He's anonymous. Not a fan of Coady. And I do t trust our wingers just to do the basics, which is all we need to brush these aside.

Casadei needs moving into a centre back role. He’s not got going at all for us and he’s not agile enough to be a central

midfielder.

I think he needs moving out the Club ideally in January.. end the loan on the basis he ain't a footballer

We look like we just rolled in 30 mins before kick off, having been on the Foxes team Christmas party in Sheffield, all hung over, slow, and half asleep, sloppy and boring come on Enzo

Mav off

Casedei off

They are both shocking

We are top of the league with a ridiculous amount of points this early on, yet we just aren't entertaining.  Watching our games is awful.  We tend to win by just raising our game enough to beat what's in front of us.  We've looked sloppy for about 7 or 8 games now.

Possibly one of the most worrying performances I can remember in a while. If we were playing a half decent team we'd have shipped 4 so far! Many look half asleep!

Its Marescas tactics, make us look shit and give West Brom hope.

I thought id never have to say this, but at times our backward play is worse than Puel and Rodgers. I don't get why that is the only system Enzo seems to want to play, for me it's only a matter of time before we are sussed out. We won't be able to play that way in the Premier else we'll just be hammered every week, we only get away with it in Championship as the standard of the opposition is so bad half of the time. We seem to be going through an phase of games where we seem to  make things more complicated than they need to be.

Just like 80% of games so far this season really. Quite a tough watch.

(Cue all the people telling me I need to turn off and put a ‘02 season review DVD on for some Deane and Dickov action!)

Quite enjoyed that. Interesting to watch some of the off the ball work, even if it's not quite paid off. Their back line looks leggy already.

Yea agreed. Tbh, if we can get an early goal in the second half.. albeit with one of either wilf or kdh coming on.. and see the game out and go full strength against the baggies I'd be happy.. early kick off Saturday and playing a day later than them  I'm sure that's what Enzo will be thinking... let's just get the three points first though
