If anyone has any contacts within the club, could be worth asking the question if they'll organise it properly and pop a message on the screens in the 22nd min, I'd imagine they'd be keen to distance themselves from whoever the troll is.

@MJDLCFCOne of our fans tragically died of Leukaemia today aged just 22 - his name was Ben Moore and was very active at the club.  One of your fans has been mocking his death on social media.  Many of us have reported him to the club and police. Personally I see this as no different to the Bradley Lowery incident and doesn't look good on the club or decent fans.

I gather from his posts he is already banned but hopefully most fans do not think this is acceptable.

 

 

I really can't understand the stupidity and mentality of some fans mocking other fans deaths. Just because people support/ like things others don't like doesn't mean they deserve such vitriol and hatred? The whole tragedy chanting is just the worst of humanity like the fans that mocked a little lads death from cancer. Why do it! What is the point! What does it achieve exactly! Why does supporting a football team bring out the worst in people!.

I've often thought about this and I've come to the conclusion that, if you're a bit thick, you totally disassociate news with actual human lives and suffering.

The resounding majority of fans here will have nothing but sympathy for the lad, his loved ones, and his wider Ipswich family.

It would be a nice gesture. It just doesn't bear thinking about for his family. I don't think there's been any gripe whatsoever between our two clubs over the years, quite the opposite in fact I think and it would be awful to think the behaviour of one complete idiot could mar that.

 

Sincere condolences to everyone connected to Ben, so young, so tragic. I hope our fanbase get the opportunity to show their respect when you visit.
