Would get plenty of game time after that even as a sub with the amount of positions he can cover. 15 million option to buy gives Liverpool decent profit on a player that hasn’t worked out for them. BKLFox Posted 31 December 2023 Share Posted 31 December 2023 Would think Liverpool if they want to keep him would rather he went to team who have an identity, style and winning rather than a team struggling all be it in the premier just for the sake of being the premier. Then hopefully the player himself is switched on enough to see sometimes a step back is a step forward in his career, this season alone the premier league is littered with young players that are now warming benches at so called big club with their careers stalling. He blew the championship apart which is what stoked Liverpool’s interest he needs to get that interest back if he wants to stay there and going somewhere like Forest won’t really do that week in week out. It makes no sense for us to do it, in the position we are in. Much more likely to get a long term target in to give them time to settle ready for next year.
