Impressed with cannon, the left winger needs more development time from the youth.  Doyle looked off the pace, Casadei looked better, Akgun also had a good game.

 

Under the circumstances all in all a great result.

Deja vu, great match, Millwall play some nice football,  however, Cooper again gets away with a penalty shout, he's pushed Cannon over, how's that not a pen? . Anyway onwards and upwards.

Entertaining cup tie that. They may rue the missed chances but we made their keeper work quite a few times, both teams could have had more goals. 

 

Cannon with a lovely vardy esque goal, and yunus and casadei did well. Onwards!

Casadei man of the match for me, with honourable mentions to Choudhury, Albrighton and Nelson who I thought were excellent.

 

Most of the first team rested and into the hat for round 4!

Only negative was that we were a bit sloppy- to be expected considering we played the reserves.

Not pretty Defence wise, however Job done, no replay, a changed team, away in the Cup, will take it, NEXT...

The aim was get through, keep some momentum for Cannon, Akgun and Casadei and give some squad players / returning players a run. All were achieved amazingly.

 

Cannon is a willing runner and players are getting attuned to it. 

Casadei has sped up.his thinking and puts his shirt in. Akgun the same, can play a role at 8 and 10. 

Ricardo starting to click getting forward which was when he was at his best.

Doyle is 1 game back in after a serious knee injury. He will speed up.

Choudhury is a good option when we need to tighten up the game as we run in.

Nelson very comfortable on the ball, not very dominant in defence.

Coady understandably rusty.

Good result , more so considering the changes. Nelson, Casadei and Cannon (probably should've had at least one more, mind) all tidy.

 

Was surprised at how poor Jakub's distribution was considering how much it's been cited as one of his better attributes, bit hairy but he made some smart stops, too. Corners need sorting, we've got loads of height in the side now but are still getting bullied all too easily. Their second goal was playground stuff.

 

Good performance all in all though, and in the hat!

Cannon could/should have had a hat trick. Very vardy sequence, when the confidence comes he will be a nightmare.
