I've been more than impressed with Yunus, and now we have shown that Raikhy can step up - it's not like we lost any significant quality, or that we didn't have excess to start with. How tf have we shown that Raikhy can step up??? 2

No players out = no players in why is this so difficult for people to understand??? Why drag the poor bloke all the way over if that's the case, and we know no-one's leaving? Surely be confident that someone's leaving first, then get him to travel. Not convinced anyone looked like they were leaving. Souttar maybe, but not really.
Rigga Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 If the issue was the loan fee etc which let’s be honest , isnt a huge one.. It just shows what a proper mess we are in with FFP Sold Barnes, castagne and Maddison for decent sums… spent moderately…still fooked! and that’s after we got a hefty fee for Fofana and bought Faes for a fraction of that fee 1

The fact he was physically in the country, had its medical, had photos with the shirt etc as confirmed by the journalist who is number 1 on Leicester news. Are you purposely being obtuse? 2

Why is it do difficult for you to consider that this whole deal was a mockery? The club had to know that a sale was always required, yet they still flew in Sensi for a medical at the 11th hour when we were nowhere near selling a player. So should they have waited until they’d moved a player in the 11th hour and 30 minutes and then tried to fly Sensi in for a medical? Or would you prefer we’d signed him without a medical?
FrankieADZ Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 only other way we get him, is if Inter and Sensi agree to terminate his contract(out of contract in the summer), and i cant see that happening
Daggers Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 The whole bollocks about needing to sell a player is such bullshit. I can’t believe how many times this has been repeated in this thread. The money involved in this is peanuts compared to other transfers - there’s no excuse. This has failed to happen for a simple reason, the recruitment team are ****wits. Susan is a ****wit. Top is a ****wit. You have enough money in the casino you go on a winning run now and then…but ultimately reality hits.

CosbehFox Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 3 minutes ago, IsItMuzzy said: We must have had enough confidence in the deal to fly Sensi over and complete the medical, paperwork etc… it’s entirely possible (and plausible) that Inter moved the goalposts at the last minute rather than a failure to negotiate on our behalf. Why though? His contract runs out in six months and Inter are aware of our FFP situation. They had no room to haggle

Lillehamring Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 11 minutes ago, The_77 said: Has there been one report that Inter have caused the problem? It’s clear we could not figure our way out of the FFP constraints, that’s not Inter’s problem. There's been no reports of anyone being to blame - it could be either or both. If they are demanding a deal that we can't reach because of FFP then we obviously aren't able to proceed, therefore it's Inter who have caused the problem. I'm not sure what we could have done to make it unworkable because of FFP, other than not be able to meet their valuation.

Who signed all these deadwood players on high wages that we can’t move to any other club in the world? Who put us in the position to HAVE to make an outgoing transfer in order to complete a chump change incoming transfer? 4
leicesterisme Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 Enzo will walk in the summer & rightly so, it's going to be an absolute shit show in the summer with these utter clowns in charge, absolutely no way we sign the players needed to stay up. 1

Hitesh Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 So funny to see people lose their shit on here.. How does everyone all of a sudden know what's happening behind the scenes? Maybe it was a inter that jacked up the price last minute?! 3
Legend_in_blue Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 At this point I'd recommend someone show Rudkin GoT S6E5 having signed S6E8. Shame.

No I’d have expected a competent club to have moved on and looked at loan deals as an alternative or as the club have done in some cases sent the team of people over there themselves.
Popular Post Bluetintedspecs Posted 1 February 2024 Popular Post Posted 1 February 2024 The ridiculous meltdowns on here over someone , a few weeks ago , that was being roundly slated as made of glass. We've not lost anyone major like KDH , got players returning from injury , suspension and AFCON., chill the fck out! 7
Simonb Posted 1 February 2024 Posted 1 February 2024 Not a fan of rudkin but until we know the issue we can't hold anyone to account For all we know Inter may have pulled the plug at the last minute worrying about covering their own injuries 1
