Birmingham are on the up. Got a decent manager and he has got them playing together as a team. We hit a bit of a slump.

a slump? huh, so we lost and drew a couple of games, i wouldnt call it a slump

JS

Hamza

Nelson

Coady

Doyle

Albrighton

Vardy

those pretending they don’t care will be the first to moan if we get turned over at home to Birmingham

Yes a defeat will do nothing for us, especially in terms of momentum, whether first or second string play. Exactly what we don't need where a slight wobble might be being detected, (by some).

Ultimately it's not important, but a cup run would be fun too. Wrong to say that it's either win the whole thing or no fun at all. Would be nice to get back to winning ways too.

Enzo tactics pissing about.

Sadly we lose this game 1-3

Draw the game after that

Lose after that

Scrape a win

Lose 4 on the bounce

If only we have the gaffer that won 21 of 25 league games this season…oh wait!

Play to win. I'm not having this focus on the league BS. We have a squad and we need to give minutes

If we lose we lose but remaining in the cup can never be a bad thing

We have lost 1 game in our last 13, how the hell is that a slump, please please please make it make sense, yeah we lost last week in disappointing circumstances and last night was frustrating but for crying out loud, let’s have some context. As for Saturday, I would freshen it up and certainly rest KDH and a couple of others if possible.

Seriously.

Play the reserves.

We'll draw Man City if we win, anyway.

We need to build momentum in the league again.

All about the league.

Losing loses momentum. Doesn't matter the competition.

Can't understand people who say it doesn't matter, its only the Cup concentrate on the league blah blah blah...All a bad result does is add more pressure onto the players and staff and adds negativity.

get some momentum back- show the football world what we are made of, show the small heath t0ssers what we are about....still think we will lose though....

From a business viewpoint, you're right. From a fan perspective I'd take the cup instead. That goes in the history books forever. Be interesting to know how you'd feel if we'd never won it. It might be an age thing. I'm nearly 60. The FA Cup matters. For some of our younger fan base, the Prem. seems to be the only goal.

We'll go up and at some point, we'll come down. As a club we always have done.

We need to be realistic about our chances if/when we go up. Do we have the money we'll need in the Premier League? I watched Bournemouth get stuffed 4-0 yesterday. I think Bournemouth are currently better than us.

I'd take an FA Cup all day long.

Need to get the ground expansion up and running. Don’t see it happening if we are in the championship. I am of the generation where the fa cup meant as much as the league when I was young. That is no longer the case I’m afraid and we also have to be realistic about winning the cup. We have done it once in a 130 yrs, almost zero chance this year. We need to focus on the league

I expect it will be pretty similar to the line up for Millwall

                  Stolarczyk

         Nelson, Coady, Doyle

          Ricardo, Choudhury

Albrighton, Yunus, Praet, Wanya

                    Cannon

Only questions around that I think will be:

Which 1 of Winks and Ricardo starts

Will it be Praet or someone else in the other 8 with Yunus (and not KDH)

Maybe McAteer for Wanya

Try and score more than 1 goal?  That’s be my advice to the team

:please:  maybe some goals from open play that aren't own goals.

I just don't see why an FA Cup run impacts our league progress. You sound like you're old enough to remember Liverpool sides that won leagues, and English and European cups with the same eleven. With the better pitches, and facilities they have nowadays, if our regularly rotated squad aren't up to giving it their all in a few extra cup games, and still maintaining their league position then they are a disgrace.

The second string lose 0-2 at home to Birmingham. What does that do? Sends a clear message that we don't have the depth. It also damages morale.

Send out our strongest eleven, win the game and move on.

We're allowed to make 5 subs. No reason we can't start with 8 or 9 first choice players and really go for it in the first half. We can then bring on the lesser players around 55-60 minutes and give them a good run out against tiring legs.

Are we sure Enzo knows this though?

League cup we beat Fulham at home (4-3 I think it was), then lost to Man City at home.
