Gotta disagree with the five hundred different people to just say it's a good test.

If we've any sense we'll play a team like the one from yesterday and it won't really tell us much at all.

We aren't going to win the FA Cup and right now it's mostly just a distraction and fatigue that our players don't need.

I would hope we won't play the first team at all.

Opinion wildly different from the majority just to stand out… why break the habit of a lifetime 😘

Will there be an increased allocation for this? Chances of it making members?

An increased allocation at Bournemouth is still about 250 though isn’t it lol

Totally agree. I don’t get this obsession with “good test against a Prem side” as if it would be any sort of indicator IF we go up. It’s a one off cup tie

The only “test” I want is against the sides we need to finish above in the Championship. The best possible draw would be against a poor side at home where we could rotate and keep everyone fit and ready.

Cup draws are cup draws and we just have to get on with it but this, for me, is a sh1t draw!

Pisses me off we aren't at home.

Whether its a good draw or not will depend on where each team is in a month from now.  If we go on a run of wins and don't lose to Leeds, I can see Enzo having a nibble at this. However, if we've dropped some points along the way then it will be the same line up as Brum. We should win the next 4, but i worry about Middlesbrough and Leeds.

Bournemouth seemed to have mastered mid table safety somehow. I would love to paste them after that shitty 0-1 loss at the KP last year (Madders back pass). If they maintain their current form they won't have anything to worry about in the League so would likely go pretty strong.

i live in poole.Im leicester and my son is afcb fan.I get to see both teams play.Tough draw for leicester against a high pressing bmth team. They call it chaos football.Their players and manager talk about going deep in the competion .Great test for us if we go full strengh and why not .Should be a cracking game

If we take the full allocation we'll be in the temporary stand behind the goal. Might treat the wife to a night out watching Enzo ball.

Slow down Romeo

Not ideal, but a good test of where we really are and how Enzo ball will do against a prem team.

In case anyone's interested in the full draw:

FA Cup fifth-round draw in full
Blackburn Rovers or Wrexham v Newcastle United

Chelsea or Aston Villa v Leeds United or Plymouth Argyle

Bournemouth v Leicester City

Liverpool or Norwich v Watford or Southampton

Bristol City or Nottingham Forest v Newport County or Manchester United

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Brighton & Hove Albion

Sheffield Wednesday or Coventry City v Maidstone United

Luton Town v Manchester City

What an absolutely fantastic test this is going to be for our evolving enthusiastic spunky squad. Couldn’t have asked for a better draw. Well done to all of the little ball pickers.

I can hear the launch it forward and this team isn't good enough for the PL brigade sharpen their knives for Enzo already if we don't get a result.

If we play anything resembling the teams in the last 2 rounds and try to play the way we currently do, they could genuinely put 5 or 6 past us in the first half.

Hope he takes it seriously or it really is a wasted opportunity to see the style up against the type of team we'll need to be competitive against if we want to stay up. We learn nothing if he plays the back ups.

Certainly wont be easy, but this is winnable. Put a few good results together in a row which may persuade Enzo to go full first team to test the lads out.

Not naive though, they're obviously a bit better than us but on our day we can do this.

2-2 draw, beat them back at ours 2-1

The full draw is a bit crap really, no standout ties, the big boys avoid each other.

Bournemouth were a bogey side for us when on paper we were the much better side, I can't see anything but a defeat.

Hope that decision is made based around where we are end of next month. If we win 6 in a row and are 16 points ahead of 3rd - he goes for it. If we are even in the same place we are now then its a second team and we play damage limitation or try to shit house it.

One off games arent a test of where we are, especially when our fixture list is rammed around it.
