Everyone seemed a bit off today.  I wonder if we weren't properly focused. Probably thinking about Leeds. I'm not overly worried. We don't stop being the best team in the league overnight.

It's as simple as this:

 

Boro had very few chances and buried 2 of them clinically.

 

We had at least 4 where it was easier to score than miss, and we missed.

 

Boro well and truly shithoused that. Fair play to them.

Very lethargic for 80% of the game. Missed 3-4 absolute sitters that on another day we bury. 
 

Would definitely start Vardy on Friday night.

Obviously disappointing to lose. 
 

but let’s not pretend that wasn’t an anomalous game. We missed 1-3 good chances at 0-0. They scored both of their 2 meaningful chances in the entire game. 
 

We missed a hatful of others, including a 2 yard sitter from our GOAT. 
 

An off day for many players throughout the match day squad but you can’t also discount how difficult it is to play, psychologically, when 2-0 down

Mad we've lost twice to these and I thought they were piss poor in both games, but so were we to be fair. Parked the bus for 180 minutes over 2 games against us and managed to beat us cos of a worldie free kick and 2 breakaway goals against the run of play. Football is shite at times!

Vardy definitely was. Despite his first miss, he completely changed the game for the better when he came on and our attack looked so much more threatening with him breaking the lines and his movement looked so much sharper compared to Daka. Despite only playing about 25 minutes he was our best player by a mile.

We deserved to lose that today. I don’t think we were at the races. We started poorly and the two goals were very poor. 
 

They’ve not let us down much this season so an off day is ok. I’m hoping Hull do us a favour midweek.

Bewildering second half, somehow worse than the first. Game was there to be rescued but showed 0 composure or control, not helped by Maresca throwing subs on in the way he did and pacing around - didn’t convey calm to the team at all. Should have made 3 at half time and left them to it for 25 mins, play the same way rather than rushing around as we did.

Rarely happens but does happen where anything and everything goes wrong. Passing was so off and Vardy even missed from two yards. It was an anomaly.
