Bump in the road.  The entire squad seemed oddly out of sorts today.

 

Boro counterattacked very well and took full advantage of their first-half chances.  Meanwhile we missed two fabulous headed chances in that same half.

 

Vardy pulled a goal back late, but the comeback was not to be.

 

Still top of the league, still have a significant gap to third place.  On we go.

We win that on another day, we missed chances and they capitalized on our mistakes and then it was a case of breaking down an ultra low block.

Our only weaknesses in stark relief.  We don’t finish very well, and in our setup, speedy attackers can punish our mistakes.

 

That said, it’s no shock that 2 shots on goal beat one.

Another 5 minutes and we’d of equalised there. Probably joint worst performance of season behind Sheff Wednesday away there. Too many sloppy passes. Id hold off on Vestergaards contract after that

Genuinely don’t think anyone was above 3/10. That’s the worse Ricardo has looked in a long time. The amount of misplaced passes wow. We go again.

Apart from the last 15 mins we just weren’t on it today. So many players having off days with some really poor final balls. Oh well, bad day at the office. Finished a bit stronger so maybe a little momentum to carry forward for the Leeds match.

Daka's a lovely bloke but he's a bit shite isn't he?.. no killer instinct it seems.. don't want to make him the scapegoat but I was pleased when he came off. So many chances.. Credit to Boro, they took theirs!
