7 goals in 10 games - should have been 8 tonight but for a dodgy linesman’s call. Everything good we did tonight was through him, but yeah let’s get all over social media and slag him off - that’ll do his confidence the world of good.Β
Great support again!

I hear you because his link play was better than we’ve seen for some time. Β but he’s going to have the pee ripped out him on sm for that miss - I would expect Lcfc fans to be the minority. Β It was shocking. Β If it was bamford then we’d do the sameΒ

I wouldn't be so sure...Β

Harry Redknapps Mrs would be a better bet!

Honestly I'm still fuming about last nights game, for the inept officiating, the fact we threw a game away we should have won 4-0, and the fact that once again we cave in under any kind of intense pressure in the last 10 minutes of a game.Β

As soon as they scored, it was obvious they would go on to win a game that in all honesty, we schooled them in for 80 minutes.

In regards to Daka, I thought his link play, and overall play, was probably the best I've seen from him since he's been here, but ultimately he's a striker, his main attribute is supposed to be scoring goals and knowing how to finish!

The chance he missed last night was bread and butter for even an average striker, but it was a pathetic attrempt from him, that gets worse every time you see it.

That chance plus the one which Mavadidi missed, which was only slightly more forgivable, has cost us 3 points.

Let us hope that 3 points is all it has cost us!

This is spot on.

Β

Ive heard loads of people slating him for the miss (Don’t get me wrong it was a shocker) but he also made a goal out of nothing, should have had one that was ruled out and we were such a better team whilst he was on the pitch.

Β

Macadidi was more frustrating for me last night as he missed over and over again. I’m not going to get hung up on one horrific miss when i’m my opinion he’s the best player we have for that position and to be honest, think he played well last night bar that moment of madness.

Β

Unfortunately for him that miss came about 5 minutes before our complete collapse (which had nothing to do with him as the press left when he did)Β

Do the front three actually practice finishing enough I wonder? Used to make up a significant part of strikers training in 'olden days'. Videos mainly show practicing tippy tippy triangles.

I must be in a minority… this goals per game thing… they have all been penalties and tap ins ( even easier than last nights miss)Β that anyone would score… his assists from what I recall would be mostly be called bounce offs … he goes down in a heap every time he gets tackled … credit where credit is due he runs around a lot …apart from that I must be missing somethingΒ

He was excellent last night, best he’s ever been for us. However…. His job is to score. Cost us last week against boro from 3 yards and again tonight. That’s 6 points and at this stage we’re pretty much nailed on for promotion.

Β

his minutes to goals ratio is very good, but I do not trust him. Imagine if we slip into the playoffs and he does that again.Β

He literally scored a perfectly good goal.

He did but it didn’t count.Β

The miss is what’s under discussion. He should have buried it.Β

So should Jamie last week but we didn't have a separate thread for shitting on him.

Yeh its a joke, he played really well yesterday and got a great assist, was really unlucky with the disallowed goal and unfortunately missed a sitter. People over react so much on here and social media, anyone would think we're 4th and miles behind top. We proved yesterday we are by far the best team in this league, even if the result unfortunately didn't reflect our dominance.Β

I recall one big miss (and even that wasn’t a β€˜blatant’ miss) by Mavididi, but will welcome you remind us of the other β€œover and over” misses…

I also recall Meslier making a good diving save of a Mavididi shot, and Mavididi almost literally dropping the ball onto Ricardo’s head who just missed making contact.

Β

Frankly, the most cogent recall was how much our attack dropped off after Mavididi was subbed off (whether rightly so or not constituting a separate discussion).Β

A 37 year old legend who’s got credit in the bank and the greatest player in our lifetime is not comparable.
