everyone seems to believe. Ndidi is coming back in

hitting the ground running into the Championship dogfight.

Strange thoughts, for very high % of you ,who

never rated Ndidi at the beginning, even into the

first games, placed him has a mis-fit. Enzo mistake!!

but I digress…

If we are going to advance,we need to find someone

who fits into the slot NOW…

I always protected Ndidi because of his injury-history

& time needed to recover..Ditto now.!

Some say Akgun, now Praet has gone…he’s been dynamic

but he’s been out of tune in conversion rates..often 1 on 1

scrambled feet..

I am still for Nacho, though I have crucified him in the past,

but IMO could drop into that role and is has fit has Ndidi

and can hold and run the lines box to box, he just has days

for the needed sharp pass put on 2 left boots to match his feet.

But Ndidi could also lose a pass long or short, and on that

Nacho is crisper. & pick a pass better..

This Messiah calling from fans, ain’t doing prophetical predictions

too good..7-8 last games maybe,We will have played may 2-4 games

before Ndidi can return, then to hit solid or 88% form:dunno:  mmpphh. ??

I still back Enzo on his choice,

above is just a thought n idea with a collective perspective of concerns.

Let's hope so eh, they need a lift. At least he always shows a bit of urgency.

You'd like to think against Sunderland they won't come out like shrinking violets. After losing that huge points lead they ought to feel angry and come out with some fire in their bellies and start the game aggressively.

Hasn't Ndidi been studying business and management at DMU while playing for us? Maybe he can be our saviour on the pitch by pushing us to promotion and our saviour off the pitch by getting us out of our FFP mess?

If he does both of those things they can name Leicester market after him and erect a statue of him on top of a 300ft column in Town Hall Square as far as I'm concerned.

The stats are stark, very revealing and about how important he is to us.

It’s been clear to see since he’s been out how much we’ve actually missed him.

Yep hard to disagree with this.

At the risk of being a stuck record, I thought the closest we've come to adequately replacing him was putting McAteer there.

Praet and Yunus just don't have the same energy, athleticism, physicality.

We could do with a real proper dynamo in there next year.

The reliance on a player ot two just doesn't compute regarding a well balanced squad and we have an abundance of riches compared to other championship outfits. What happens if we go on in the cup?

But we don't have a well balanced squad and we don't have an abundance of riches.

We don't have adequate cover for a lot of people in the side. In fact I'd the majority of the starting 11 can't really be adequately replaced with promotion chasing quality with Winks and Vestergaard being the most obvious stand outs for me, followed by KDH, Ndidi, Hermansen, Ricardo and then probably slightly more controversially Mavididi.

We got relegated with a very expensive wage bill but a big part of why we got relegated is that a lot of those players are grossly over paid.

The quality of the depth of our squad has been one of the most ridiculously exaggerated aspects of our entire season. We started the year with Wanya and McAteer starting as wingers.

Even the positions we look strong on paper (probably centre back, up front and at full back) all turned out to be misleading because the specific roles Maresca wants and the quite specialised skill sets that go with them.

Up to a point, however we do still have players that would walk into Any championship team and very good players that could be a lot better, we do have cover and ok player's tend to look a lot better in a confident winning squad. McAteer looked good, scoring for fun not that long ago, KDH, Mav too.

Yeah I don't doubt but those players are pointless if they don't fit the roles that Maresca wants to play, particularly given that he's proven to be quite a tactically rigid manager so far.

Iheanacho is a good example. He walks in to any starting lineup in this league but he doesn't really seem to fit what Enzo wants.

Coady is another. We paid a solid chunk for him probably assuming he'd start but, whilst he isn't terrible with his feet, he's nowhere near Vestergaard and that's a big problem.

Not expected to play tonight but he might be ok for Hull

i suspect if he was he'd be on the bench but i'd say Bristol away/Norwich at home is when we'll see him again

The issue is is that Ndidi usually seems to have a hard time returning to form after coming back from an injury. Hopefully he will be starting and playing his best for us sooner rather than later.

He can't make the team any worse, just hope he gets up to speed quickly and can stay injury free for 10 games....needs wrapping in cotton wool!

Get Ross Barkley in should we go up and Luton go down. He’s had a great season.

We have enough weak mentality players without adding another.
