Late July / early August used to be the standard release timing before the new trend of releasing on the last game of the season became a thing.

Am i the only one not really bothered? If they can delay it till after our holiday the at least i won't have to be put under pressure to get it for the boy before we head off. Hate this trend of the new kits appearing last game of the season.

Not bothered, personally think it's a bit weird for adults to be wearing footy shirts, especially as about £60 a pop. 

 

Anyone that has shown discontent towards our ownership shouldn't be going anywhere near this or the concourse.

Cant we just make a decent shirt once every 2 years instead of a shit one every year? In a supposed time of ethics, sustainability and green thinking should we by importing and more sweatshop nylon tat?

 

Even the compnanies that make the shirts are stuggling. Its actually impossible for them to justify 70 quid once a year for a shirt that costs them 2 quid to make.

You either release it at the end of the season or you wait until pre-season. It would make no commercial sense to release it in the middle of the summer break when the Euros is on.
