Why are people harping on about it being offside? It’s level! Yes VAR might analyse it for 5 minutes to see if Fatawu needs to cut his toe nails but in the real world, he is level. I’m seeing Ipswich fans saying it was worse than Leeds 3rd last night! Not sure what planet they are on!

KDH is having a strange game. Brilliant assist and he’s everywhere but also doesn’t look like he knows what he’s doing on a football pitch.

 

Wilf too seems well off it. Maybe both feeling the effects of the recent illnesses.

 

Don’t think we’re playing particularly brilliantly well but Southampton’s style of play suits us and should create more in the second half as well. Take our chances on the break and we should be comfortable.

They had control of possession but wouldn’t say they were controlling the game. We’ve had them pinned back for the majority.

Pass for the goal was good but he's also given up possession in the final third by not releasing the ball when the shot or pass is on on so many occasions.
