Crafton from The Athletic reported City agreed to a mini preseason tour in the US with other Prem clubs but we dropped out:

Shame that.

I like us in these world tours.

We've an extra three week break compared with other PL teams and the play off winners. This pre season is the perfect time for a couple of far flung trips

I think the start of Enzo realising exactly what those above him were like was when we went to Thailand last pre season.

The hilarious thing is, it is even working. The laughable attempts at flogging that Thai clothing range by putting it on all the players as they walked out and playing to about 200 people in monsoon season. Way to go Top

I remember his face during the interview. Genuinely looked as fed up as all of us after 2022/23 and he'd been here about a month lol

I don’t mind the travelling, it’s the playing teams from your league that I can’t stand.

Nah, not for me. I'm a traditionalist when it comes to pre-season. These tours serve no purpose other than milk the fans of other countries and all marketing purposes. I'm not sure Leicester will even profit from going to USA so I'm glad we've chosen not to go.

Wait until you hear we've turned the US down (where we actually have an audience), and are heading back to Thailand....🤣

That's pure guesswork by the way but I can't imagine the club can afford to turn cash down like this so there must be something else brewing.

You can almost guarentee that is what is going to happen. Especially with the Championship trophy

I would be happy to watch the under 21s with a few main squad run out at BMO field in Toronto for $100. Flying over to england isn't always an option for us non rich folk lol.

I know "plastic".

Apologies, if they go Canada that's acceptable

I’m very against us travelling halfway around the world during pre season but with our situation we find ourselves in, if it’s gonna pay then so be it.

Take me back to the days of Penzance away.

I can grow the city over here. I've been doing it since the early 90s when I got my first city top (thanks grandpa for bringing it over. R.I.P.).

I agree entirely. It's surely about getting fit and playing appropriate opposition to hone systems, tactics and getting players to gel. It's not about self promoting owner vanity schemes in meaningless competitions in Thailand. Having said that, looking at the unknown entourage during team on pitch celebrations and bus loads of the same faceless people on the parade, possibly that says more about what Top is all about?

It be funny if we have a pre- season friendly against championship side Leeds

Even better if we then sent a Leicester City XI made up of fringe and youth players

Don't think it would be very friendly. lol

If we fail to lift the Bass Shield, Enzo will be gone.

Are they still in Monaco or wherever they were? Because I’m 99% certain Vestergaard just cycled past me.

It was only a 3 day Jolly Boys' Outing.
