I think they’ll surprise us. I think we’ll have a couple of mundane, midtable seasons. Which, after the madness we’ve had in recent seasons, is just what we need.

Holding a guard of honour for club legend Danny Ward as he is brought on the the last minute V forest when leading 1-0 and we ultimately lose 2-1. 

 

Ground gives a standing ovation safe in the knowledge his contract is up .

 

Hours later Rudkin gives him a new 4 year deal.
