marcymarc666 Posted 31 May 2024 Posted 31 May 2024 Can't help feeling a big dissapointed at this news. Last year was a weird one, we began by winning games but never looked like we were playing that well, then when we started to play we'll it became boring and teams exposed us on the counter attack. He proved to me that you can have too much possession !! I think he'll do well down there, you have to have best players for that system. Basically he's watched Pep and is copying him, but has he got any of his own ideas ! We would have been caught out a thousand times playing like this in the Prem. We need to bring someone else in who plays a slightly different system and for me at least five players to implement anything.
Pliskin Posted 31 May 2024 Posted 31 May 2024 Best outcome for all parties in my opinion. Was great last season, but there were concerning signs regarding his tactical flexibility. What we needed last season, not necessarily what we need this. Good luck (he will need it) to him and thank you for getting us up. 3
Popular Post RoboFox Posted 31 May 2024 Popular Post Posted 31 May 2024 And you know what? Totally apathetic towards it. Even with Megson leaving for Bolton after about 10 minutes, I was like “what a twat” This? Just don’t really care either way. Cheers Enzo. Now get on with it, Citeh. 7
Popular Post Fox92 Posted 31 May 2024 Popular Post Posted 31 May 2024 Don't really care. He did what any half decent manager would have done last season, considering our budget and squad, and got us promoted. Not going to pretend every game was brilliant last season because it wasn't. 4 1
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 31 May 2024 Posted 31 May 2024 Really glad he has gone. Thanks for getting up Enzo, but your football was 💤 to watch! 3
adejo92 Posted 31 May 2024 Posted 31 May 2024 Barely a single positive post in the chelsea forum haha. 1
Popular Post Ashley Posted 31 May 2024 Popular Post Posted 31 May 2024 Thank you Enzo. Came in at a time of need, steadied the ship and got us back to where we belong. All the best at Chelsea. 7 2
Popular Post Tielemans63 Posted 31 May 2024 Popular Post Posted 31 May 2024 I'll remember Enzo's time warmly, I think. I'm grateful that he fixed up the shitshow in double-quick time and brought in some badly-needed structure. I know he had the most talented squad, but he also inherited one of the most brittle and dysfunctional teams. The football was frustrating, but it was also brilliant to watch at times. Can't wish him luck though, can't stand Chelsea 8

Bluetintedspecs Posted 31 May 2024 Posted 31 May 2024 Fulfilled your remit, all the best, thanks for the compo... Next!
Kinowe Soorie Posted 31 May 2024 Posted 31 May 2024 Fvck Chelsea and Erland Johnsen. #notbitterstill 2
RYM Posted 31 May 2024 Posted 31 May 2024 The guy’s done very well to be fair to him. He’s had the easiest ever job in the EFL and despite nearly blowing it because of his own stubbornness, he’s come out of it all with a better job. He’ll do well, he’ll have better players at his disposal that can play his system, which as we know is awful to watch. Our best performance last year was when we had that player meeting, ignored him and smashed saints. I’m hoping the new manager can find that spark in the players again and play in a more attractive and exciting way. It’s a win win IMO, as long as Jon doesn’t mess up the recruitment. It’s a massive appointment and I’m not sure why you’d want the job but we’ll see! Up the city 🦊 2

Pita Posted 31 May 2024 Posted 31 May 2024 Players and managers come they go let’s get this over with and get a new manager asap and start planing for next season 1
Popular Post Stopharage Posted 31 May 2024 Popular Post Posted 31 May 2024 Goodbye sweet prince. For the short time we had together, there were magical times and many laughs along the way. The times we shared will remain close to our hearts and you have given us memories that can never be replaced or forgotten. That’s enough about Albrighton though. This guy leaving gives me a feeling of ‘Meh’. The knuckle-draggers of the Kings Road are going to be apoplectic when his centre-backs pass it between themselves when they’re losing 1-0 to Fulham with a minute left. 2 3
