Every wide player we have is better on the right. It's only reason I'd consider taking Rashford, he'd probably be at the back post and is comfortable on the left of the attack.

Saka is consistently beating his man but Kane and Foden's positional sense has been appalling

A natural left sided player is sort of needed. We don’t really have them.

Kane is exactly where he should be, foden being more fluid positionally and he's drifting from that left forward role and should be landing at the back post

We’ve not really done much wrong to be fair. Looked a bit flat at times but that’s more tactics than anything else.

Fully agree.

It have been completely controlled by England.

We have a lot of flair and ability in this team.

England playing well but the top sides will have taken note of how vulnerable our left side is.

We do have Shaw to come back, and will be able to swap for a more natural left mid or play more rigid

Bellingham is getting battered. Ref needs to be stricter on these late challenges.

Can't beat him, batter him. That's how Chiellini beat Saka in the last euro cup.

Trent looks lost in midfield. Apart from a very good pass to Saka, just before Trent won the free kick, I'm not sure what he's actually bringing to the team that's exceptional. Gallagher or Wharton could do the same and not look so lost.

Am I missing something?  Kane, Saka, Foden.  Why is it Trent?   Is his name backwards and he's actually Alexander Arnold Trent?

Shearer is doing my head in.  Either all forenames or all surnames.

No way this actually winds you up

I didn’t watch any of Bayern, I just saw Kanes numbers.

Did he stay more forward for them?

Everyone calls him Trent don’t they?

Alexander Arnold is a right mouthful if you’re on commentary!

He was rarely the furtherst player up for them.

One syllable versus six. Just easier isn't it.

The pundits are going to toss over this half, but Kane hasn't had a sniff, Foden's been largely anonymous and I'm not sure Alexander-Arnold is adding too much in midfield.

We are only one goal ahead and the Serbs have finished stronger.

Need more.

It does.  Thankfully we've now got rid of "Boris" and are back to nearly grown up politicians.  But I digress.

Is there any reason Rice is on the pitch?

He played the season of his career for them,  one of the best seasons a striker has ever had in the Bundesliga. Ironically, it was also the first season in over two decades that Bayern went without winning any silverware.
