I'm not sure there's another player in Europe on the market with stats like this who is available right now. He might not be able to convert it into the Premier League right away, but given his age, it's likely he'll come good sooner rather than later.

No one wants any of their other players they want to sell and he saves them from PSR. My guess is as you said before, he’s not played a game for them yet so less crippling than losing Isak or Gordon.

i believe this is what the prem meant when they talked a about reciprocal deals to help each other beat the PSR regulations.

So Newcastle have managed to get £30m from Brighton for someone who's never played for them and £35m for Elliot Anderson. I don't understand transfer fees anymore.
