We shouldn't really be surprised about BDR. He had good return stats for Fulham. They liked and probably wanted to keep him as squad filler on his previous  salary.

Suspect our ever so obliging 3 year offer was long term planning (relegated, promoted, final year.) I also suspect he was on a low salary.

Glad he's finally coming into it as fans have boo'd him when hes been subbed on previously, perhaps unnecessarily as he's not had real starting opportunities. Hope it continues.

Where's the racism there?

Would Spurs fans say, "you don't know what your Jewing!"?

Or Man U fans say to the Glazers, "We're going nowhere. USA that, wouldn't you!"?

It's singling out the owners nationality as if it's relevant. If the owners were English, there wouldn't be, "English you weren't here!"

English isn’t a race and neither is Thai

That just sounds silly though, however if they were from north Lincolnshire you could have a slogan that said “bunch of Scvnthorpes”

Yeah you don't want to put shit like Thai(m) to go. Will make media quickly turn the fans into the villains.

From the outside we're already entitled idiots for dong this. Don't give them more ammo.

In my opinion the protests would do well to leave the owners and their nationality out of it. There is general consensus amongst the fan base that Rudkin and wheelan need to go but I think the owners are much more polarizing plenty of fans still feel an affinity/loyalty to them and stuff like this will turn people of the cause.

Could possibly be considered racist.

I mean, it is racist, but I'm talking from a legal perspective and therefore see action taken against protestors.

I'd bin that one.

Yep and also just dreadful.

Maybe I’m ignorant but I can’t see how that is racist?

There’s a reason he’s made a decent career for himself at prem level. Yesterday we saw the first proper glimpse of that.

A few Fulham fans I know were disappointed he left, which I thought was weird at the time. But he's starting to show he can be useful.

Back to Bobby, one swallow does not make a summer, he is still crap IMO. An off form Mav, who is much quicker and skillful, is the much better option for unlocking defences

I haven't seen enough to crappify him. Let's see him start the next match.

They both offer something different. I don't think Mav makes that pass to Vardy, but bobby doesn't have Mavs pace. Mavs is off form though, so in hindsight playing Bobby was the right choice.

Since Reid scored our equaliser against Brighton Mavididi has had 7 consecutive starts and got 1 goal and 1 assist.  Reid got 1 start, yesterday and got 2 assists.

For the season they currently sit on:

Mav 1,270 minutes played 3 goals 1 assist

BDR 357 minutes played 1 goal 4 assists.

Pretty sure Mav will have no where near the career Reid as in the Prem as he is no where near quick enough or skilful enough
