It’s a terrible sponsor but as our club is an absolute disaster behind the scenes why would any reputable business want to partner with us?

If you look into FC Nordsjælland in Denmark that is a club with a clear vision and as a result they attract big, moral businesses that want to back their journey.

They develop a clear pathway for youth players to make the first team and to then be sold. They tend to have the youngest first team in Europe, the fan base is 98% families and having been there to look behind the scenes, everyone there knows what their job is and how to do it. It’s mind blowing but so perfect.

If the club was sellable we’d get a great sponsor but if it’s your pound notes why would you give our club them?

It’s further proof that our club is so poorly run that nobody wants to come near it.

DHL are not a nice moral company lol

It's just another example of the useless plebs we have in marketing/commercial. If you can't secure a decent sponsorship for the most watched sports league in the world you are ****ing useless at your job.

By my count 11 of the 20 Premier League clubs now have their kits sponsored by online casinos/gambling/gaming companies.

So, either all of those other clubs have useless marketing departments, or that’s just where the money is these days (or even where the money can be moved into before it’s moved into the sponsorship deal).

This doesn’t excuse any unethical business practices by the sponsors but there’s more to the story than just incompetence in forging business connections.

There’s a world of difference between say Bet365 and whoever were sponsored by

It does make you wonder if the absolute impenetrability of the Rudkin/Whelan axis is connected to them being so deeply entrenched in the murky world of KP finances.

Rudkin, running the horse racing operation FFS.

It all stinks.

It’s crazy I’ve never even heard of the majority of those. It’s all well dodgy

Regardless of whether we think Rudkin has done a good job or not, he shouldn't be Director of Football AND running anything else for KP. DoF for a Premier League club isn't a part-time job, I don't care how many hours he works

Just jobs for the boys bullsh!t. If he wants to jolly along with the owners, get him out of the club and doing whatever else he wants for KP and then get a serious Director of Football in. And while they're at it, do the same for Leuven.

Unreal.

A lot of this misses the point.

This gaming business is a trojan horse for KP. The sponsorship is an absolute sham.

The senior club staff are absolutely embedded in the KP culture of benevolence, silence, secrecy, and complex financial spider webs.

PL rules. PSR rules. Transfer rules. Local planning rules. Everything is secondary to KP rules. There's no culture other than KP/Thai/Buddhist culture. There's no respect other than a far east Asian sycophantic respect to 'our dear leader'. History is ignored. Fans views ignored. Warning signs ignored.

Small point perhaps but I'm lead to believe the annual service of remembrance has been stopped by the club. Now one can never see the club stopping the yearly service for Vichai and the the others involved in the crash.

Some of them don't even have working websites at all - our sponsor has one but you can't even access it here!

Below is where those companies are "from" - although I imagine a lot all end up falling under the same ownership or whatever

Aston Villa - Betano - Greece

Bournemouth - Dafabet - Philippines

Brentford - Hollywood Bets - South Africa

Crystal Palace - NET88 - Vietnam

Everton - Stake.com - Curaçao

Fulham - SBOTOP - Philippines

Leicester - BC.GAME - Curaçao

Nottingham Forest - Kaiyun Sports - Philippines

West Ham - BetWay - Malta

Wolves - DEBET - Vietnam

I doubt Rudkin has anything to do with the commercial side of the club.

Out of interest, but has the club ever done anything that Foxes Trust celebrates? Seems like a lot of moaning and the club can never do anything without being berated. 🤷‍♂️
