Everton are confident of beating West Ham, Nottingham Forest, Leicester City, Wolves and Newcastle to sign Leeds United attacker Wilfried Gnonto, according to Caught Offside.

The news outlet reported on 17 July that once Amadou Onana joins Aston Villa, the Toffees will launch a bid for the Italy international.

A price tag of £25million has been set by Leeds but they could spark a bidding war given the growing interest in his services.
