First of all I want to thank the fans for the love they gave me and for being there in every game no matter the result. Also to my teammates, the people who work at the club and the staff for helping me improve and giving me a good time at the club. Wish you the best always foxes. FB40"

You just know he’s going on loan to Birmingham or something and tearing up the division lol

Statistically across the majority of metrics it was a very poor season for him, but that’s in a squad which generally just lacked any sort of quality. His first handful of games were electric and he massively tailed off making many big mistakes on the way, I think he probably needs more loan time at a club that is going forwards and not backwards to get the best out of him, I’m not sure he will get much first team minutes in that Brighton side next season just yet. Hell of a player in there though.

Waiting now for the comment from Odsonne Eduoard along the lines of 'Thanks for the wages LCFC have paid me, it's been a pleasure to be here and do sweet FA for 9 months Best of luck, can I come back and do the same for next season.'

To be fair he did show a few quality moments when he was giving the chance but for me he's far too weak as a footballer and lost out in the challenge too often turning a promising attack into a counter attack for the opposition. Premier league might suit him better as they have more time and space on the ball, but certainly in the championship he would be caught out by the physicality of it all. Good luck to him though.

Absolutely, but my contention was that when he did, it was more likely to be in the opposition half of the pitch whilst attempting something very useful.

Unbelievable that Cooper or RVN couldn’t find a way to get him and El Khannouss in the same side.

I think the issue is and was our midfielders and defenders are so shit that we are continually limiting our own attacking ability trying to plug the holes with other players who aren’t creative but maybe do more work covering for the shortness of others. Whilst the managers weren’t good, particularly Cooper who crafted this squad, the resources haven’t been good enough.

Buonanotte and El Khannouss probably two of the hardest workers in the side.

Trying to shore it up was never going to work, we would have been better going toe for toe with most of the league.

The Premiership is faster and more physical than the championship.  I don't know how this age old nonsense about the physicality of the Championship is still knocking about.

Buonanotte looked really decent early doors. I thinks as he got excluded he tried harder and harder to impress and made.mistakes. I suspect he will become a very good player and he has definitely got a goal in him.

Absolutely agree. Have someone aggressive behind that's prepared to sit in and those two could cause all sorts of damage! Both of them work incredibly hard, track back and are prepared to put a foot in. For me it was an absolute no brainer that they weren't progressed together!

I did once hear RVN hint that with Buonanotte he could give the ball away BUT for me, when he did, it was invariably in the opposition half that whilst attempting something very worthwhile. This has to be far better than over cautious pissing about in your own half that tended to lead to nothing and lose the ball anyway in a more dangerous position!

Had we persisted, their confidence and awareness of each other would have grown exponentially to great effect. We'd have given the opposition something to worry about rather than just slavishly merely following the latest managerial tippy tappy trend without the required players to pull it off. Poor and weak, fearful management imo

Had someone like Viktor Pereira come in here after Cooper instead of going to Wolves when he did I have no shadow odf a doubt that he would have paired them together after one or two games in charge max.!

5 goals and 2 assist in 13 starts for a team at the bottom of the league.
He will do well as a regular starter for a half decent club

I would have tremendous respect if he did that. Honesty is appreciated and will make our leadership look incredibly stupid. All for it on that alone. Lol

I don't give a **** about anyone saying shows how far we have fallen. We still have the memories, and that goal against Forest was catastrophic for them.

Deserves better than us and will go on and have a great career. But thank you for that goal you sexy man.

The first half of the season I got genuine early mahrez vibes from him. I think he would have flourished in a good team.

Im still sure he will go right to the top of the game

Inevitable that he'd return, but I wish him all the very best. Technically outstanding and will go on to great things. Should have been one of the first names on the team sheet but RVN destroyed the lad. Clearly has things to work on, particularly his decision making but at his age that's to be expected and why Brighton sent him out on loan in the first place. Best wishes for the future Facundo!
