Everton not got much more to do now to stay up, 3 wins and a couple of draws from 16 games, easily attainable.

I don’t know how many clean sheets Everton have, but I’m guessing it’s already double what we’re going to have in the whole season. No way we were going to finish above them.

everton win thanks to a massively dodgy pen

why can we just get dodgy decisions go our way that lead to wins

We did vs. Saints and Ipswich.

We've been pony for 90% of games this season, we're lucky to have more than 5/6 points.

Battle is between us Ipswich and Wolves then.

I think it was before today tbh.  But then again once we climbed out of it under Rodgers nobody (outside the fanbase) thought we were going to fall back in it.  So you never know.

How do eveeton not have around 3 or 4 players sent off for time wasting is crazy.

Every game they must waste around 20 to 25 mins the latter if they are leading.

Get away with it all the time.

Everton 7 points clear of relegation zone and, with an easy win in their next fixture, they’ll be close to safety

I just checked who their next fixture is lol

Chances are they’ll be out of the top five by the time they play Ipswich on March 15th. Brighton, Fulham, Newcastle, Arsenal, Man City their next 5.

And that's how brutal it is at the top.

They've gone from six straight wins and people saying they're title challengers with UCL all but in the bag to one win in three, and the last two involving hanging on by their fingernails against the worst side in this division since Derby County and an absolute shellacking by Bournemouth, ahead of a monstrous run of fixtures.

And that’s why ladies and gentlemen you employ Moyes and not Ruud for a scrap

I mean, it’s two games….. Everton could lose the next few and be right back in it again.

I honestly think Bournemouth is the real story of the season.

They took a punt on an unknown manager, are objectively the smallest club in the division, play some cracking stuff and are on the verge of the top five.

Definitely. You have to admire the job he's done there. It shows that it can be done, if you're a forward thinking club.

Us - stuck in 2016

The thing is Ariola wasn't unknown. I swear to god if Rudkin had an Athletic subscription we'd be infinitely better run. All it takes is heaven forbid a Director of ****ing Football to take an interest in the sport beyond the British Isles or what your agent mates tell you is good.

I meant relatively unknown. Obviously we on here were all calling for the likes of Schmidt, Fischer, Conceicao etc but our board would never have the stones to look abroad like Bournemouth did.

Because we are hardly in the opponents box!

Yes but one of them is against us next week so it's realistically 3 games

Could do with Southampton beating Ipswich next week...

One of the few teams that you can see Southampton beating really, especially after shipping 10 in 2.
