Who are our relegations rivals? Can only see the obvious two + Everton and Man U? No chance wolves/palace will go down.

Everton have drew three against top teams but they just aren’t scoring many goals.

Not looking good for us I am afraid.

Can’t see Man U being relegated. No matter how crap they are, they are still miles better and have loads more money to throw at this to fix their problems.

Everton seems to always scrap through but they are an outside chance to compete with us in this respect.

Then if you think there is no chance Wolves and Palace will go down, then we are really in the hot seat to be relegated. But then again we got relegated with a much better squad than Wolves and Palace have, so who knows.

We really need to start picking up points though and worry about that first.

I’m reading the latest cost cutting project of Jim Ratcliffe is to cut the Man U charitable foundation, what a guy!

He was seen as the white knight to come in and save them and get the club back at the top of the tree, yet all he has done is rip the soul out of one of the biggest clubs in world football.

Whilst we have our own “King power out” thread I bet the ex-employers, local businesses and their fan base just might be regretting what they wished for.

The other thing that struck me was the fact the multi millionaire dollar business that is Manchester United only gave a little shy of £1m per year to the foundation, firstly cheap barstewards and secondly even worse on the penny pinching if a club like Man U can spend £300k a week on wages but will hit their charity arm to claw back pennies, how much does KP put into local charities and the hospitals per year on a fraction of the budget?

I’m not going to say be careful what you wish for but which part of the world do we want our faceless conglomerate new owner to come from, US, China or the Middle East?

Yes it might stop the free beer and mince pie everyone takes the p out of but……

But what? New owners might get us threatened with points deductions? Transfer embargoes? Relegated again? Sign sponsorship deals with crypto currency scams? Charged by the CMA for price fixing against their own fans? Charge fans for season ticket cards they already own and try and palm it off as charity?

You're quite right, I wouldn't want our owners to do that either.

I have this rare ability not found in most football fans to not let things I’m unable to control or benefit from like results or day to day running of a company I don’t own affect me.
Now reading a lot of threads I see a lot of our fans are stating “we are no longer a community club” & “I don’t recognise our / my club anymore” so all I’m saying is when you think like that despite most people ‘in’ football or people who have worked for the owners all say “it’s very rare to see owners like Top & family within football (in the + not - view) that have the heart in community” I’d be wary of how much of our club you’d think you’ll be getting back with a faceless conglomerate.

This is not to say he doesn’t need to shake the top of tree mind but not sure I’d be calling for his head personally.

Why does it have to be a "faceless conglomerate"? You've just made that up.

Also the irony of trying to distance modern King Power from that when the owner is missing from most of our games nowadays, and never communicates with the fanbase. If he was a standalone owner with no links to his dad, he would very much be classed similarly to what you're describing.

Forest are not Leicester and cannot do a Leicester because no one can exactly replicate what we achieved period. The comparison and tagline really irks me

They're nothing like us that season.  Firstly Liverpool are running away with it.  So the league is gone.  At the halfway stage they've already lost more games than we did in the entire season.  They might fall away, they might not, but the best they'll get is CL qualification. If Arsenal and Chelsea win their games in hand they're already down to 4th.

Just watching Ref Watch which is awkward at the best of times thanks to the dullard presenter, but they've brought up the IFAB laws of the game and I'd be surprised if Joao Pedro doesn't receive a retrospective ban?

The wording is about 'using or attempting to use excessive force...regardless of whether contact is made'

still see some media outlets pushing the narrative that forest are starting to look like leicester of 2015/16

dunno why, they arent going to win the league

Getting top 4 is now seen almost like winning the league. All that matters is Champions League qualification. You saw this with Villa last season, people talking about what a miraculous season they'd had finishing as high as Brian Little got them in 95/96.

Predictions for todays games?

manu suffering once more will be amusing but for me Enzo cannot drop his pants against Ipswich. It’s totally possible given recent results but we can’t have Ipswich leapfrogging over us.

But what if we had owners that made up bullshit about UEFA rules to make our fans do ticket collection in person in foreign countries? Or made up pointless bollocks to force our fans into travelling to cup finals by club coaches?

We just can't risk having such pointlessly malevolent tossers in charge.

Why didn't we even look at signing Delap? Completely turned our noses up at Championship players we'd seen were decent, count Greaves in that too.
