We’re not relegated. It’s not a great situation but the season is only half way through. Nothing was either won or lost in half a season.

Realistically, a miracle is needed.

A huge uptick in form and the best transfer window in six years are the only ways we do it. And that's without taking into account the likely absurd good luck of teams around us.

With Glover & Rudkins track record of signings it would be a major shock if the players brought in make any difference at all, I think we sign 3 and 1 will improve us- that’s about the current success rate

Pressure Jan windows for Rudkin.

Molla Wague

Ryan Bennett

Harry Souttar

Justified a pay rise every year apparently.

Nothing is decided yet. There's still half a season to go and only 3 points separating 16th to 19th.

What's happening with the Cunha situation?

We’re not yet, but we’re on for 28 points, so we need 6 wins from the next 19 games with a few draws…. And that just really doesn’t seem possible with this current squad and manager.

6 wins will give us a mighty 32 points

Kristiansen and Tete too…. So that 1/3 is proven there (and that’s a debatable success in itself)

Who have been better than us? Ipswich? The team that have been below us until this point?

Yes Ipswich have been better than us this season. We have had more luck than them. They have beaten, Chelsea and spurs so when they come round to playing them around them again, they will move well clear of us. We will finish below them comfortably this year but may still go down.

might be solid in some respects but theyve been battered in games, teams havent put them away etc

Well if your talking of not putting games to bed , I'd say Spurs,West Ham , Bournemouth and even Southampton would have been scratching their heads after those games where we got 10 of our points.

No, but 6 wins and 3/4 draws would do it - almost certainly

Expecting us to get points from 9 or 10 out of 19 games seems unrealistic at best.

i totally agree, one of the reasons Cooper was sacked imo

as ive said before the shots stat is a iffy stat to really go by, cos it counts shots that can go out for throw ins etc

Sounds easy on paper but that would have us currently 15th

I think there is too much of a gulf in quality. We need better quality players.

Oh here’s the lucky Ipswich again, just like last year.

Amazing….Incredible how sustainable it is for them! Right?

Just repeating myself from the other day but the Everton and Wolves games have done it for us. Pooper was a horrendous appointment.

We are down.

Sell Mads and Bilal for 70m+.

Points deduction.

Jakub in goal.

Backbone of Nelson, Vesty, Souttar, Skipp, Winks, Alves, Reid, Ayew, Fatawu, Mavididi and signings and we’ll build back to long term success.

Exactly, I think getting 32 or 34 points seems fanciful

Man United (H)

Man City (A)

Newcastle (H)

Brighton (A)

Liverpool (H)

Wolves (A)

I just cannot see nine or ten games where we get points, much less six wins.

It will get to a point where we will need 10pts+ from those remaining 5 games.

Could we?
