Put every penny on Solanke scoring.

🗣Yeves Bissouma isn't playing, and Spurs didn't score more than once from open play in a game without him last season!!!!

(plus some other variables)

So there is hope guys, come on....it's a free hit, Spurs are good but we could actually score and they could (it's possible) only score one.

Let Fatawu have whatever he wants from vending machine loads of E numbers.

Also Bobby DCR scored I think 7 goals or assists last season, that's almost 1 in 4.

You'd imagine 1in 4 = 0.5 chance of scoring at home. So basically it's just maths..... quick maths but it's 50/50 he scores or assists.

Now if we win the toss, compound the interest or percentages or whatever add those two 0.5s you get a 1!

1 in 1 we score a goal.

That would be fun wouldn't it, even if it did end 1-4.

the main issue issues as i see them:

we dont know our 1st choice centre backs, and the ones we have are a bombscare

we dont have a left back

we dont have an attacking midfield option over the age of 19

we dont have a striker

we dont know if we are going to be on -12 points.

we dont know what tactics we are aiming to play

apart from that we are gold

And our pies are shit :scarf:

Is there any chance Cooper will start Cannon?

Based on the Lens game I would say no - more likely to see Mavididi as striker

It'll be:

Mads

Ricardo, Faes, Okoli, JJ

Ndidi, Winks,

Fatawu, BDCR, McAteer

Mavididi

Literally wouldn't have won the Championship with that team lol

We knew pretty early in the week that it would be unlikely (no one would be signed and registered).

Wow. Gobsmacked.

Maddison clearly played a part in the 2022/23 relegation (Everton penalty miss etc), but he was also a huge part of what was built under Rodgers before the downfall. He also spoke well about the club during his time here, so it should be a neutral reception in my view.

At the same time though, the underperformance and consequential relegation in 22/23 means that any of those players coming back here will face a level of hostility, so it won't be unique to Maddison.

And they make signings look so quick on the Burnley documentary.

Season goals?

“Those will stay in house. We had a good day on it, the players opening up on what we want to achieve. There was good honesty. We agreed. It’s important the players have a voice. We’ve set them and we’ll try to achieve them.”

6 days ago the players are badgering him for more quality and new faces
