Other people have alluded to it in other posts he obviously thinks he's step above everyone else in terms of ability but he's absolutely f**ing dog shit. He always has been and always will be what a crap signing, but everyone knew that at the time because he was shit for palace apart from Rudkin and Cooper the clueless t**t's

Shit for Palace he played over 200 games😀😀

He won’t use the team so he is letting us down badly, occasionally him keeping the ball looks like skill, but it’s not beneficial

When he hit the post yesterday the ball should have been laid back for a better shooting option

Against Wednesday he showed great skill to cross and make a chance for Daka, but the counter attack would have been quicker and more efficient if he just passed inside to Bilal on the half way line

He should’ve taken a shot on his left but cut it back again and took the ball wider.

in the second half he missed the ball when he tried to trap it then fell over.

So many times he gets the ball and turns back and forth waiting for contact instead of passing, this and dropping backwards is his go to move.

Played rather selfishly yesterday, tried too hard, failed with dribblings, got caught up front.

Not for the first time, I may add.

He's a flair player played out of position, works best behind a striker – if we had one.

Yes never been a goalscorer you don't play 200 games in PL if you can't play.Did you miss the run and cross last week.when he skinned 4 players

Clearly thinks he’s way better than he actually is.

No coincidence he has been part of the worst Villa side in Prem history as well as us last year and also part of Swansea relegation. Attitude stinks and downs tools as soon as it gets tough.

Defend him all you want he’s a shít footballer despite playing however many games in the PL.

He’s been a bottom half premier league footballer most of his time in England. The season he leaves Crystal Palace and actually replace him with someone half decent they win their first trophy.

Did you miss in the game yesterday where he tried to trap the ball, missed it and fell over? Or when he had a clear shot with his left in front of goal, took it into his right wasted time and reduced the angle to miss, or the times he constantly receives the balls, turns back and forth ignoring everyone around until he falls over and loses it. He has zero game if the ref isn’t soft.

Give Martí an actual striker so we don't have the risk of Ayew being used as one again please

He needs to be an impact sub at best.

Slows down every attack. So frustrating.

he was one of the few negatives from tonight for me. Desperate for a number 9

Play Daka instead of Ayew too

Absolutely terrible until we went 2 up and then he did what hes good at...seeing out a win.

Shouldn't be starting up front, absolutely kills our entire attack and game plan.

Please buy Marti a striker, I cant watch 40 odd games of Ayew haha

The bloke is 34 next week, I fear it may be a tad too late to teach him how to pass the ball and when.

There were a few times hegot into half decent positions and there was an attacking pass on but he decided to try a dribble or delay things. The other week he was shooting from 30 yards when there were better options for him. He wasnt a disaster today as he did some good things including in defensive positions but we need to have wingers and midfielders who can score and assist in addition to the critical striker position. I am happy with the wingers but cant see where the goals come from midfield and up front at the moment.

Right up there with the likes of  De Vries, Carl Cort, Akinbiyi and Barry Hayles. Lazy, slow and couldn't trap a bag of cement! Would genuinely rather play Daka every game.

I’ve always thought that Ayew was one of our worst signings but, up to now, not one of our worst players, but currently he is. Because he dictates the way we play.

He’s not good enough to play wide and he’s not good enough to lead the line. We just have no outlet ball with him and no pressure from the front.  We’re just too easy to play against.

He has his uses as a support striker but, even then, I don’t like him starting games. He’s better coming on late and helping us see out games.

We’ve looked far more effective with Daka on, but it’s stating the obvious to say that we desperately need a new striker
