Only 20 and expected to be our “star” and pretty much only creative player and then the only player usually ahead of him is Vardy

No wonder he hasn’t been able to really do anything

Season in the Championship will do him good

He's about 4 steps ahead of the morons that surround him.

Put him in a well drilled side and he will fly.

Fully expect us to loan him with an option to buy of about £20m next season and someone will have our pants down.

How would we benefit from doing that?

I'm starting to think Ruud has given us a silver lining, if Bilal keeps putting in these bang average performances, we might not need to worry about him moving on, there is a hell of a player in there, but like Buonanotte, Ruud has pretty much ruined him, we need to hold strong and keep Bilal if we can.

Been dreadful for weeks himself now - has been fully dragged in.

I think he probably stays next season now. I don't think anybody will pay the money needed.

Will thrive under a decent manager (doubt we'll appoint one).

Bilal won’t be in the championship. He’s broken like the rest of them at the moment but there is a player there.

I don't think anybody will pay what is needed (probably £30mil). His lack of goals are a concern.

Once he can concentrate on his job I think he will do ok, but at the minute he's trying to be a winger, number 10, deep lying playmaker etc, all whilst doing most of the pressing up front.

Some rumour talk that Liverpool are interested.

He'll still be here next season. Relegation doesn't mean all good players go, Watford kept hold of Sarr for a season or so, Gnonto still at Leeds. My concern is he'll be angling in a year, remember he only signed a 4 year contract.

He can't pass a ball when it matters. He is a long way off Liverpool. I'd be surprised if any established team came knocking. His level is either with us in Championship or a newly promoted team, only for them to come back down again.

This is exactly his problem, He's trying to be everywhere and doesn't have the energy when he needs it most. They're are all suffering from the stress of our predicament.

He'll recover and be all the better for the expreience as he develops further.

Arsenal ‘most interested’ in Leicester City player – Liverpool claims dismissed
By Naveen Ullal - 25th March 2025

Leicester City’s Bilal El Khannouss has ended up on Arsenal’s agenda, according to Africa Foot, whilst Liverpool claims have been dismissed.

The Morocco international managed three goals and three assists from 28 games since joining Leicester from KRC Genk last summer.

Although the attacking midfielder’s statistics aren’t that impressive, Arsenal are said to have taken notice of his performances for Leicester City.

It’s claimed the Gunners are the ‘most interested’ team ahead of the summer window.

El Khannouss has a contract lasting until 2028 but will be ‘forced’ to look for a new club if Leicester are relegated from the Premier League. The Foxes are 19th, level on points with 18th placed Ipswich Town, and nine behind Wolverhampton Wanderers, who are in 17th spot.

Recent claims have mentioned Liverpool. A source close to the Leicester player has denied this and states that Arsenal are ‘most interested’ from England.

The same source also stated Lazio are interested in buying El Khannouss while RB Leipzig are keen on signing him on loan in the next window.

Leicester will have a say in all of this even if they are relegated, and it’s something that Africa Foot haven’t really taken into account.

Not a chance in hell he plays championship football is there. Bet we don't even get the fee he's worth.

It'll be a play a few games in August job, before leaving at the end of the window

Sport Witness is a bad enough source as it is. Sport Witness passing on gossip from Africa Foot is about as bad as it gets.

You'll only get what someone is prepared to pay......

He's not done near enough to get a move to a club like Arsenal

Completely agree. He's been a shining light in a dog-shit team. Doesn't mean he's great at all, and unless we're forced to sell, you'd be surprised how many players we'll actually be stuck with.
