Be interesting of he wants to trade first team minutes for being back at u21 and u18 for a big club.

He either does it the Bellingham way for us or risks it all in an Under 21s for Man City amongst other equally extremely talented players.

Like Man City with Girona.

I just see him ending up somewhere in the depths of Chelsea's network.

We desperately need to guarantee him starts next season and give him assurances of first team football. A season to build consistency in the championship before possibly getting promoted and playing fulltime in the prem and fully launching his career seems a smart path to take.

If these little cameos go well I'm not convinced he would go.

With us he can play first team football.  With any of the potential suitors he's going into their youth setups.

Only threat then is the multi club pricks who then loan them out for first team football in their network.  Like Man City with Girona.

But can he go abroad?  Don't know if there's rules on that for the yoof.

he can't sign pro terms until the end of next season so if he moves anywhere he's not going on loan, smart play is to stay here for a year, if we go up stay again if not then move at 17

I think the club have been right to balance his appearances. He's still in education which is equally important for personal development

But boy if we can keep him he's ready next season at 16 for the first team

Would have been so fitting if that shot right at the end dropped in. What a moment that would have been..

He can definitely hold his own. Keep playing him if we can.

This lad is so good, he could keep fatawu out. Is it possible to make him a first 11 player at 16? If so, we should, he'd be the best player we have, the ball literally sticks to his foot.

Having experienced first team football infront of +30K fans, he wont want to go back to academy football. I think he'll stay.

What am i missing here? Thought you had to be 17 for contract?

I think he could still provisionally sign terms that would then come into effect on the date of his 17th birthday.. Pure Football Manager guesswork though!!

Big call because a Fatawu on full form and no one in that squad is keeping him out.

I read somewhere that Monga wants to be a 10 next year. We could have BEK on the left, Monga at the 10, Fatawu ok the right, with Mavididi, Alves, Evans and McAteer rotating in. Get a solid striker and that’s a potent attack in the Championship.

Monga is better than fatawu

It's like when we were comparing Knockeart and Mahrez, with Monga being the latter.

Yep if the stars align with all these youngsters and BEK stays then a new star striker is the missing piece. But can we trust the recruitment process and rudkin?!

I'm fairly sure that legally no agreements can be made before the player turns 17. Obviously you can have a verbal agreement, but it's not worth anything and doesn't mean a thing. I Imagine it's Ruud just saying things that people want to hear, knowing that the vast majority won't have a clue.
