The best two to look at are Harry Winks and Ricardo. Winks has looked like a close relative died whenever he plays. He's gone from a player that looked rejuvinated and delighted to play football again, to the one that was frozen out by Conte and had to leave Spurs on loan. And that's despite the fact that he's in the starting XI! The trouble with Winks is he spent most of last season saying Maresca was the best coach he's ever worked with and once you state that there's nowhere to go. Most of these guys achieved something for the first time with a coach who then jumped ship. If Cooper's methods don't produce wins they'll all be thinking the same thing - can this guy cut it? But you won't get that confirmed by a source like Sports Insider.
Dan Posted 25 September 2024 Posted 25 September 2024 Something does seem very off, like beyond us being bad.
ronnup Posted 25 September 2024 Posted 25 September 2024 Hes ****ed it, players dont lose this sort of battle. He will be gone soon 4
Popular Post Aleksz Posted 25 September 2024 Popular Post Posted 25 September 2024 (edited) All you need to do is watch players body language, take what you’re reading in places, and read between the lines and it’s all totally obvious. - I was told Vestergaard and Cooper have had a fall out, this came from a players family member. - There was the report Faes wasn’t enjoying playing on the left side of defence and wanted out towards the end of the window. - Winks is constantly doing his nut at people on the pitch. - Mavididi’s body language is absolutely on the floor, he isn’t playing with a smile like he was. Fatawu the same. - People mentioned Reid bizarrely running around in the pouring rain warming up on his own at half time at the weekend - Choudhury last night for the first 10minutes was well up for it, before you know it the head has dropped and he’s walking off down the tunnel. - They’re constantly going at eachother… Winks at the weekend, Coady last night at Fatawu. - The fact there was next to zero input from the staff towards players last night going into the penalties - they all went off and did their own thing. - Justin’s interview at the weekend said it all You can sit there and say “oh what’s the evidence” and “oh we can’t believe that source” but some of you aren’t using your eyes, it’s right in front of you. They’re far from a happy camp and they’re not having him. Edited 25 September 2024 by Aleksz 40 6
Paninistickers Posted 25 September 2024 Posted 25 September 2024 (edited) I remember the lens game. When there was a break in play - for Daka - Winks was really going at it at the players to try and get control of the game. I was surprised. I'd never seen him like that. Nowadays players tend to turn to the bench if they have a problem. To see him so animated was worrying at the time. But easily put aside as a one off. I think however I've seen Winks lose his nut, one way or the other, in every game since. It's all wrong. The atmosphere stinks. Edit. It's Claude Puel again. We all knew he'd lost the dressing room and schmeichel wasbarch instigator (his dad disrespectfully and disgracefully imo calling out puel on danish Tv as 'the problem' ....at least Claude had the advantage of getting results, Vardy apart playing his best players, blooding youth and overseeing some great signings. Cooper has none of that credit in the bank. Edited 25 September 2024 by Paninistickers 2

It's not going to be as happy a camp as it was when we won virtually every game in the first half of last season. - I can't remember Mavididi ever playing with a smile on his face. - Justin did a similar interview towards the end of last season ender Enzo. - It's natural Vestergaard isn't happy not being in the team. - I would hope some of the leaders in the team like Coady and Winks are having a go at players not doing their job correctly - Faes needs to accept where the manager wants to play him and crack on! 3

They’re far from a happy camp and they’re not having him. Pretty much all of this. Cooper hasn't lost the dressing room. He barely had it in the first place. This was a group of players (minus KDH now) that was very much a collective force last season. Promotion is great and the PL is difficult once you've stepped up, but to have such a stark contrast within 6 months is bewildering. Not least disappointing. Cooper can cop majority of the blame. Some players also. But once again the head honchos need to take some responsibility for making what seems to be another huge mistake. Again. 2
Gazza M Posted 25 September 2024 Posted 25 September 2024 Think u are looking a little too much in to it based on some click bait article. I think they are pining still for Enzo to be honest and his playing style. Unfortunately we aren't playing Championship dross every week.

Stephy always had a spring in his step and looked happy apart from when he had a bad run, he’s playing well now and looking totally dejected. being unhappy at not playing and falling out with the manager are 2 different things. winks going mad every game is because the players aren’t on the same hymn sheet. Managers fault. faes story probably not a lot into it as only played left once if I remember correctly

Craig Posted 25 September 2024 Posted 25 September 2024 I sat next to the dugout for the Tranmere game and I couldn't get over how odd the whole backroom team are, and how the players barely even acknowledge them. This won't last long. 2
The_77 Posted 25 September 2024 Posted 25 September 2024 While I believe there are likely issues behind the scenes and I have not been a fan of Cooper, we can’t keep regurgitating the same Footy Insider story on Foxes Talk every three hours like it’s another new report. 1

filbertway Posted 25 September 2024 Posted 25 September 2024 Not sure how people didn't notice Winks last season He spent the majority of last season coaching players on the pitch and talking to them, this isn't a new thing. 1
sylofox Posted 25 September 2024 Posted 25 September 2024 Can you lose something you've never had? I don’t think the players were behind him from the start.

Who was nearly sacked - partly because of sections of the fanbase irrationally hating him - at least 4 times in his second spell (the one that led to us going up, staying up and, one year later, winning the league). And don't get me started on O'Neill. At least the fans managed 12 games then before throwing bricks. Also ex-Forest, wasn't he? And neither of them were pin-up material, or previously successful at the level we were playing at. It'd be good to see what getting behind the team and seeing the positives for once could achieve, instead of this blanket negativity. If that fails in 5, 6 or 7 games time, then fine. But some people here seem to enjoy trying to make sure that this can't work out. If it goes wrong, with everyone pulling in the right direction, we'll know soon enough. We're way, way short of a disaster at the moment, and so long as we're a bit more on the ball than we were under Rodgers, we'll have every chance of staying up. 2
Molson Canadian Posted 25 September 2024 Posted 25 September 2024 if this is true, he won't be around long then. players won't have it. if the big impact guys in the dressing room like vardy and ricardo speak up and say they don't want him to upper management. there is no way he can stay.
Swarles Barkley Posted 25 September 2024 Posted 25 September 2024 As my uncle used to say, there’s no smoke without fire. lovely man, bit of a pyromaniac though
Pita Posted 25 September 2024 Posted 25 September 2024 The players just don’t seem very happy. Not like last season
