Looking forward to TalkSport saying we should have given him more time & should be thankful we had him.

They (& media in general) are so out of touch with clubs below the top 6/8. Can't wait.

Gonna be hilarious seeing BDCR banished to the phantom zone to join Ryan Bertrand tbh. Great waste of a summer that.

Tbf you can blame the premier league for this as much as anyone. The looming points deduction had us thinking anyone would do

I may be looking for things that aren't there, but wasn't the big sticking point with Potter that he wanted a lot of his backroom staff that were still at Chelsea, and they weren't going to release them cheaply. And yet, a day after hosting Chelsea & wining and dining their decision makers, we might well be revisiting those conversations...

As people have said, seems a decent bloke but levels out of his depth.

It was never going to work and seemed like a panic appointment after Potter said no at the last minute.

Wish him well whenever he ends up, probably mid table championship and I'm not sure even that's his level.

Who next? Potter, RVN or Moyes probably. Would take a punt on Benitez as well.

An organiser is desperately what need.

My 5cents: cooper believed if he was cautious then there were three worse teams.

The everton home match showed his unwillingness to attack.  ... and in so many other games.

The defensive organisation was sooo poor. Ok so we know some of our guys are flaws.. yes i am taling about you faes... buy so many mistakes where there was no safety first attitude.

Finally, I knew he was a goner when he felt forced to start starting fatawu.  This was against his instinct but he had to bow to fan pressure.

...Until the next one. Whereupon, the polls, the threads and the obsessive vitriol will all start again.

He wasn't the worst manager that we ever had by a long stretch, but it was a dreadful, dismal appointment given our circumstances and it was immediately evident that he was completely out of his depth in every respect. He should be managing a league one outfit and I would wish him every success in doing so.

Well said mate

I hope Van ( the man ) Nistleroy gets it to be honest. Also coopers best game for me was Southampton at home , wish him the best in the future however it was always gonna happen wasn’t it ?

So just to clarify, we waited until after the international break and sacked him because we didn't beat Chelsea lol

Probably more so the performance he's blaming of everything else and also vardy quite clearly not being happy

BBC HYS being very typically BBC HYS. It's quite funny seeing clueless fans of other teams simply looking at the league table instead of performances.

Good riddance! Although one wonders what the club saw in him to begin with. Uninspiring appointment and expectably poor performances and results.

I just hope they go for someone now who the players and fans will buy into.

You may be onto something there. Either that or we got them s**t faced on complimentary Chang and got them to sign something on a napkin!

I can take losing games, it's the manner in which we've lost games that gave me little hope. Most teams performances have improved since game 1, I'd suggest ours has regressed. It's clear we need a manager who can get the players back on board, playing a style they believe in.

I'm still trying to find the copper out thread.

I don't know what your problem is. It's a wonderful conductor of electricity and heat.

People querying why he's gone now when it was the Chelsea game that we'd have expected to lose.

Well....I hope they've just watched the first half of Ipswich v Man. U. Ipswich, a team giving it a real go, playing for their manager, and full of passion.
