Some credit to the club here as well, whilst he should never have been appointed at least they've pulled the trigger in good time.

Always say 10-12 games is a good indication of where things are going. Fair play to the club for at least trying to give him a chance, but also not letting it drag on and being fairly proactive.
 

It’s never easy to make these decisions and to strike a balance, but I think they have done here.

I do feel sorry for the guy. Gave it a go but ultimately didn’t appear to have won over the players or fans so was always going to be an uphill task for him.

Shocked really but it was clear it wasn't really working nor likely to either.

 

Absolutely key the next appointment is right.  Will they go for proven experience or gamble on someone a bit more dynamic but relatively unproven. Not an easy decision.  Whoever it is must quickly get the player's respect and sort out the defence. At least make us hard to beat.

Whoever they appoint will need some money to reinforce the squad in January.
