He’ll gain plenty of momentum from simply not being Cooper from both the players and fans.

 

This feels a good fit.

I don’t think it’s a world class appointment. But I’ve warmed to the idea. He’s clearly got a good enough tactical nouse, and oozes charisma and leadership that this squad desperately needs!

Also club clearly have some hold over the forum getting them to delete the posts that said it was a done deal.

We were never going to get a world class appointment in our position he’s the best option for us imo, hopefully leaves us in a strong position In the league and we can move the club onwards and upwards.

Assume it’s true then and not a scam. If it genuinely is Jon Percy sourced then all good.

Hope this is true but I won’t believe it until I see it. Still scarred by what happened in the summer when we were told Potter was a done deal one night and then the next day we ended up with Cooper.

We shall see. I think there is a limit to what’s he’s got to work with quality wise especially with the injury to Abdul and Ricky. Nevertheless, fully behind him.
