David Moyes personally, shows how much of a good job he did at West Ham. Would probably actually prefer him over potter, I think Graham is a bit overhyped

I said about two years ago to a West ham mate at the time a swap between Rogers/Moyes would have been a good thing for both clubs, but had that happened they definitely wouldn't have won the European trophy.

Presume we've abandoned a focus on possession football then?

That’s why I find it unlikely, though no doubt he has the experience if somewhat unexciting. Though if the aim is to stay up to sell up, then fair enough.

As much as Cooper comes across as a likeable bloke as our manager he's been pisspoor. I don't think we can do any worse whoever we get (famous last words 🤣

Was he even likeable? The high percentage that wanted him out would suggest not.

He was shit hot with excuses though, that crazy ex chairmen not looking quite as crazy now with Nuno

Did you watch any of Wout Faes aimlessly booting it forward yesterday lol that’s long gone.

Moyes.

Same source that said Fatawu had done his ACL.

Panic mode then.

It's a complete departure from the philosophy and they just want to stay in the league at all costs. Would wonder what the contract length is and what the break clauses are.

Also think it says that, crazily, they weren't actually succession planning at all and were just hoping we'd ride the storm out and stay up anyway.

If its Moyes, that says we're grabbing the easiest available option because the players are in revolt and it's a quick fix.

Moyes doesn’t excite me either but is a very sensible and totally understandable appointment. You appoint him to stay up.

The exact reason I’m open to having him, despite being against it in the summer.

Not really. We definitely would have spoken to him in the summer and taken him then if he showed any hint of taking it.

It’s Definitely stay up at any cost though.

What a load of drivel, did you ever see Brighton play under Potter

Press was top notch, movement top notch

How we gonna press with a geriatric up front?

Easy response to Potter it seems without any actual knowledge

Whoever it is needs to be backed by the players and bring some confidence back to them. They clearly liked Maresca and then he left then the confusion of Cooper....

The players need to be behind it.

Hoping Vardy had a word!

I don’t entirely agree Finners…. Whereas Moyes isn’t a sexy appointment, I think he’s fairly safe. I think he definitely keeps us up…. We will probably play your strengths and see a more transitional based attack. But I think he sorts that defence out. He pragmatic, but he’s proven pragmatic unlike Cooper.

I haven't seen anyone mention Mark Robins. I wanted him in the summer and think Cov are bonkers to have got rid of someone who has done so well with so little.

I think Moyes keeps us up.

I want Potter tho as I see him as the better option longer term when compared to Moyes.
