He certainly has a positive aura about him. Seems to have a good mix of being laid back but looks like he'll demand high standards. I like what I see.

curious if he speaks spanish… given his time at malaga and the fact he has a home there.

Definitely opens the door for south american youngsters that don’t speak english. Infinitely lowers the risk if a manager can speak directly to players rather ran through an interpreter

Looks like Ben Dawson is still involved. Surely he’ll need to add to the staff as well

"Hey Ruud, I've been thinking....what about Danny Ward as a libero?"

So much to like. Organised. Wants to be involved in training. Very much a coach first. And expecting intensity. Love every time the camera came here, he gave it a look like “I’m working here”.

Be interesting to see how he does.

I also noticed that he didn't seem too fond of the camera. I like that.

Rudkin takes the hint and cashes in on an All or Nothing documentary

The overwhelming thing i hear from players and coaches is RvN is very good at improving players. That's a massive positive.

Really hope he can get some semblance of sanity from this club to build something here.

FM he’s got a lot to work with then. These players are by and large crap - you have to feel sorry for Vardy and Madds surrounded by such dross

I carved the squad up in to the following:

More than good enough:

Vardy

Hermansen

Winks

Bounanotte

Fatawu (sadly injured)

Ricardo (sadly injured)

Ayew

The potential to be good enough:

Mavididi

Skipp

El Khannouss

Kristiansen

Okoli

Stolarczyk

Nelson (when fit)

Unsure:

Ndidi

Vestergaard

Soumare

Daka

McAteer

Alves

Edouard

Not good enough:

Faes

Justin

Coady

Choudhury

Thomas

Reid

Ward

It's going to take some high calibre work to compliment those that are already capable with those with potential and/or somehow getting every ounce of ability out of those who appear to have run their course at Leicester.

We watch on with interest. I've a feeling we'll see a few good results early on.

I’d agree with that 👍🏻

Speaks volumes that 4 of the back 5 in Saturdays debacle are in the not good enough list.

Agree.
The one I’m not convinced on and I’ll get shot down for this is Winks. Brilliant last season in the championship but I don’t think he’s as good as lot think he is in this division. Clearly the unsure ones have to step up massively.
Worries me that imo we have 3 outfield players that are more than good enough.

Mind bending team selection from Dawson. Up there with the tactics and personnel that Sadler and Stowell picked

I don't think he realised the scale of the task at hand when he took the job.

Let’s not forget that the teams around us are just as if not worse than we are……. If he can strike a chord with them and get some kind of organisation and at least a basic plan, we will have more than enough to stay up.

I get that on Winks, there's question marks. However, his pedigree and technical ability should be drawn upon by any respectable coach and he is good enough.

I know it's not a popular opinion at all here at the moment but I think these belong in the potential to be good enough category.

They have the raw materials but they need to be part of a well coached and well organised defence and both need to be settled and confident.

We've seen JJ be an excellent contributor to good Leicester teams winning good games. I don't buy the notion that he's crocked, the same guy is there he just seems very heavily influenced by coaching.

Even Faes has had some good performances and shown promise in a Leicester shirt but his mistakes absolutely snowball like crazy when his confidence isn't there.

I'd prefer it if we could replace them mid to long term with more robust and less accident prone options but I do feel they're the pantomime villains a little bit at the moment to an extent that's getting a tiny bit unfair.

You don't get to be a Belgian international and called up to the England squad, without having something about you.
