Don’t think I’ve ever watched a manager here who simply has no clue what to do.

I mean, Paolo Sousa? he is absolutely at that same level of bad though.

Sadly he makes Tater Peeler look like a tactical genius

Both terrible, only the Ruud has over him is he hasn’t signed loads of dross.

99% of clubs he would have been sacked.

Only at lcfc could we sack a manager and then get one who has an even worse statistical record and cant even get a goal scored in the right end.

We cant afford to sack him and he isnt daft enough to walk away.

Truely inept leadership at all levels.

We can't afford not to at this point.

I think we were better under Cooper because he actually didn't try and put in any structure as strange as it sounds. I think we were acting more on instinct and just chancing it on the randomness of games. It's never a long term plan but maybe in the long run that would've yielded the odd result a bit more often.

My sympathy for him is massively suspended because his recruitment was appalling and totally irresponsible given the financial constraints we've found ourselves under. How it was allowed is beyond me.

Van Nistelrooy has managed the worst of both worlds - he's kept us just as disorganised at the back while totally stifling our ability to score goals. I think he's been completely stitched up but as I feared when he was appointed, the entire thing has been one massive false start and it's never going to recover. He came close to matching our alltime losing run last time with 7. I think he goes one better this time. Not a chance this side gets a point until Wolves, probably Southampton. Other teams may as well rest players.

I think Cooper recognised the weakness in our squad and played accordingly. My issue with him was that he didn’t have a winner’s mentality. But at least his focus on playing on one side of the pitch only helped to shore up our defence and also helped with us having numbers in attack (albeit on one side), given our deficiencies. The squad didn’t like it as they thought they are champions playing in the Championship.

RVN is too one dimensional with his structure. He does recognise the different profiles within the squad which is what I like about him, but he is unfortunately clueless in how to get the best out of the squad and insist on playing the width of the pitch like Man Utd. We don’t have the players for that. Playing in that way, our squad is simply not good enough compared to other teams, but I blame his tactics.

I was not a fan of Cooper either but I was supportive of giving him more time.

Presently, we just keep giving silly goals away - our defence is just championship standard - and we don’t have any ability to score goals.

I’ve said before, the magical gardening leave.

relieves manager of current duties, but still contracted and paid every week.

king and vards to step in on a temp basis.

financial issue fixed for you.

Vardy is not the current answer to any managerial problems. For all we know he is currently part of the problems.  You'd like to think not, but we don't know.

Never said he was, but if it gets rvn out the door and helps to create a siege mentality and an opportunity to try something different, most would take it at this stage.

We can if we know we are going down whatever happens and I doubt even pep could save this lot!

RVN was a ridiculous appointment and is clearly out of his depth but that does not mean the squad is any good - this lot with the exception of JJ, VK (he’s an awful player), Mads and Vardy do not give a damn - a number of them like Faes, VK, Soumare took us down 2 seasons ago and yet we believed they would be good enough to keep us up - no player should go onto the pitch and not run themselves into the ground make tackles and basically play for our club - I have not seen that under RVN at all - we are so inept and passive which is partly set up but also is about attitude and this lot can all do one - we need a complete back to basics and let RVN walk away with a relegation on his record like we should have done with Brendan !

This isn’t the case, we won’t sack him because of PSR…. But this sums up this deluded board, PSR isn’t going to be an issue because we will be in the championship next season….. so just ****ing sack him, get Kingy to run the show for a bit and play the under 21’s.

I'd love to see the running data from last night. These players aren't playing for him. They've quit

They are not playing for anyone or anything. It's pathetic. The players hold too much power and have done for too long. They should be made to watch that back again to show how unprofessional a performance that was.

Cooper was a shit manager who deserved to go. Just because we brought in an even shittier manager doesn't give him any credit.

Anyone wishing him or anyone of the same ilk back is not right in the head.

Nothing in my post says I want Cooper back, I’m just confused with the anger at

Cooper compared to RVN on this terrible run. We could do with a temporary manager to grind out results until the end of the season but it’s not happening.
Both terrible appointment's RVN and Cooper.

i’ve  looked into my head and I’m fine 🙂 thanks

I know that sarcasm thrives on here & that's OK but I'm done!  I couldn't watch the second half - not because I'm a part timer but simply because it hurt too much watching a team representing my City play such a lack of desire, fight, skill and professionalism. I can't remember a performance as bad as that one & I've been following over 50 years! It hurt! & a lot more than it hurt them. I can't believe we're that bad .........the instructions they're following are shocking. Never mind being worried about rvn sticking around for the Championship I'm worried he'll still be here for Chelsea.

Hats off to those of you who went down though

I've managed a Sunday league reserve team and had a better win rate than Ruud. But I don't look like a gibbon, more Screech from Saved by the bell
