Once again tells you absolutely everything you need to know about our board that they didn't put a relegation clause in there. They really were delusional enough to think that we were going to just rise from 16th. Imagine having them as your accountant. You'd be dead within two years.

I know all appointments have an element of luck about them but we genuinely appoint and hope for the best. No planning for it not working out, not thinking it might work and they want to move, just chuck a three year deal and pray.

I don’t understand football club logic, it’s the only business where you get rewarded for being shite. Like the players get paid huge amounts not matter what their performance, the managers get paid off even if they are shite. With Rudd why did they not say review at the end of the season, build that in, they gave Cooper a 3 year deal too. So in recent seasons we’ve had to pay off Rodgers, Cooper and Rudd along with all the other cluste****s. Surely having someone with an ounce of football knowledge, brain, concept of the modern game would be useful. We have a 1980s PE teacher running the show and its shows, very few clubs in the top 2 divisions show this level of ineptitude.

Dunno about that. Have you seen some of the payments CEO's get for failure, such as the water industry ?

At this point it has to be one of two things;

1. We can’t afford to sack him and we will wait till this seasons books are closed

2. The board are happy with either what he’s done or his plans

Either way it’s a poor state of affairs and shows how incapable and poorly ran this club has become. We should never be in a position that we are forced to sit and watch the ship sink as badly as it has with no actions or how blinded the board are to believe that someone who has been so poor could be the right man to get us out of the championship.

At this point it looks like RvN is saying and doing all the right PR stunts to save his career stating the club hasn’t spoken to him (could be true which is poor on our point and but gives him an angle to say there is no support to allow him to be successful) and by saying we should be focusing on academy (which I do believe we should) however I don’t think it’s been done correctly.

It really doesn’t have to be those two things, I’ll give you some more that are far more likely:

1- Top hasn’t let Rudkin know what he’s thinking yet, so Rudkin is awaiting instructions.

2 - Top doesn’t see any need to do anything until the season ends

3 - Top thinks RVN is contracted for 3 years so doesn’t see why he has to do or say anything as there’s 2 years left

4 - Top has told Rudkin to shortlist replacements and is expecting the list by 1st July, when they have a meeting scheduled

5 - Top thinks we’ll walk the Championship as long as we keep the manager and the bulk of the squad together

Crazy thing, is, this is probably accurate.

Scenario #1 occurs very often, sadly.

I’m just a bit confused, concerned about what is happening at the minute.

When people said the owners don’t care, I tried not to believe that, my heart didn’t want to believe even though my head pointed it out.

I’m maybe not sure they are aware that the perpetual state of limbo that we’ve had on and off for 3/4 years is damaging new fans and old fans a like.(or again don’t care)

For 6 months under Enzo we seemed to have clarity and direction then the January came about.

There NEEDS to be communication from the club as soon as possible on many things including the managers position.

It screams lack of incompetence, but for all we know they are radio silent because they are actively trying to sell the club.. but sincerely doubt it.

Not a chance.

Agree.

Contempt all around I think. Ruud seems to be making a point with silly team selections (or he is just stupid), Top just ignoring everything and then us left in limbo.

Top hasn't a clue business wise, he's just enjoying life being the playboy son on a luxury jolly enjoying the fruits from what his father left behind.... totally inept leaving being a board which is clueless in the future of Leicester City FC

I can't stand RvN, bit this is just basic professional courtesy. The club is being run like a semi-professional team. Scandalous

They don't even care.

I think that's doing a disservice to semi-pro teams as well

Are you RvN in disguise? 🤣
