I was just thinking what was worse in terms of worst coaching set up? Today under Dawson or when those 2 clowns took over after we sacked rogers. That was pretty bad too. Neither of them having a clue what they were doing. 
 

when you’ve been given 1 precious game to take charge of you first and foremost make it the most defensively solid you can. It may bore everyone but just don’t lose. Start strong than change if needed. This team was setup wrong from the start apart from vards and Benny up top.

Supports my long-held theory that there are plenty of people in top-level professional football who have a lesser understanding of the game than a lot of fans. Switching to an unfamiliar formation, bringing in a ring-rusty Coady and a confidence-shorn Luke Thomas....at LWB as well, a position he's never looked comfortable in - mental. As soon as I saw that line-up I knew this would be a car crash. I get there's not a lot of options but that formation and those tactics were just plain stupid.

Agree, but the Rodgers pair didn't try and reinvent the wheel. They actually stuck to a plan. It was madness, but I guess you could argue at least they practiced what they'd preached under Rodgers. 

 

This guy, a total nobody, decided to rewrite the rulebook. He had no right to. He isn't qualified to. He was asked to look after the team, keep it steady Instead he chose to wreck it.

One thing though was that he put Thomas and Soumare in front of RVN. Otherwise the two of them could be out of sight. I still believes both of them have development potential.

 

Also Coady. Surely he has to start before Faes now. Anyone but Faes.

I would have started at least 4 that were sat on the bench. That line up was a joke and I'm still annoyed about it now the bloke has just taken the piss out of the club if you ask me

Never worse than Taylor - over reaction and maybe it was a defiant selection but that is no excuse for the gutless performance by the players - we have a bad smell inside that squad and the likes of soumare, VK, Faes, Coady can all do one for me - hopefully RVN sees through it and bombs them

Wouldn’t be shocked if Ruud gets rid of them all and starts again, absolutely honking, Cooper and his cronies have set us back so much in such a short space of time. 
 

Honestly can’t see any of the past regime staying on, I believe Rudkin got some shit from the away fans is that right?

Mavididi, Daka, Vesty, Skipp, VK would all have started for me. 

 

McAteer would've been on bench and I'd have looked to bring him / Hamza / ayew / Bilal on at some stage dependent on the game situation.

I'm not sure about Daka but I'd have started the other 4. I might even tried to get Bilal in.

And? I didn't say it wouldn't. It's just a weird thread to slag him off for changing the system and personnel when he would have been slagged off for keeping it the same. Let's be fair, it was utterly shite and still too close to what Cooper what did (so if the thread was how it was similar that would be fair enough, although damned if you do and damned if you don't)
